CR1216 work in the majority of Timex. These work, delivery time was quick, and they were cheap.

Batteries probably good, but no store will install them
We assume the batteries are fine, but haven't found awatch shop or store willing to insert them for us into the watches, even for a fee. We're too old to do it ourselves. Never anticipated this snafu.
