Have been using this fan nonstop for awhile now, it's lightweight, easy to assemble since it's plug and play and I don't use it with a controller because why waste a port on fans that will be running 24/7, the compact size is nice and the fans are powerful enough to circulate the air in my tent above and below the canopy. The oscillation isn't as smooth as my AC Infinity fans but these were a bit cheaper and work totally fine.

I purchased this fan in February and it worked great during the early spring to start vegetable seeds indoor. It was rarely used once the last frost (late April) passed, but I began to use it again this month. It started out fine for a couple of days, but stopped oscillating. I was prepared to give it two stars, one star for prompt delivery and explanation of its capabilities, and one star for the fact it seems a solid, well-made product. I wrote to VIVOSUN, not to request a refund (way outside of return time frame) but just to let them know if wasn't working. To their credit, they wrote back right away with a request for additional information so they could troubleshoot. I decided to give it another try and, of course, it is working fine now. (Murphy's Law). Since it is working as designed, I am glad to give it five stars, with a compliment to VIVOSUN for the prompt communication. UPDATE: The fan stopped working again. The seller requested a video showing the issue, which I supplied, and they are providing a refund that I can use to reorder the unit, which I will do. I still give the product five stars, as well as the seller.

Had Gen1, but the oscillation feature stopped working after a year or so. Was replaced under warranty. Great fan but even better support from the company. 5 stars for the fan and 10 stars for their customer service! Thanks Vivosun!

Works great. Had it for awhile now. 1+ years id say, the oscillation function has stopped. It still blows air more than any fan I've had. Easy clip on. Perfect size for tents. Great value for a fan that is as powerful as this one. Wish it was still oscillating tho.

Vivosun has never failed me so I decided to give it a go with their fans after my husband tried a cheaper product that died after 24 hours. If you’ve never tried Vivosun products, I assure you they are wonderful! From humidifiers to heat mats and lighting, I have fallen head over heels for these items. Plus their customer service is excellent. If you listen to the video I posted, the only sound you hear is our ACInfinity unit, no sound from the Vivosun fans. Here are my pros for these fans: -The Vivosun fans are super quiet, you can’t even tell they are running. -The grip is absolutely amazing and they do NOT slip down the poles. Every other clip fan I have owned falls or slips, but not these babies! -Multiple speeds: you can’t even tell choose a simple breeze to high winds with the tap of a button. -Possible to hook up with inline systems- we did not do this as we have different setups and brands. OR use alone - which is what we did here. -Less equipment needed. Usually we have at least 3 fans going in a 4x4 grow tent, but we only need 2 of these. The oscillating function provides consistent movement across all plants. -Perfect for both soil and hydro. Excellent value - price point is comparable to most others on the market. -Mounting position: This is my favorite part next to the non slip feature. Normally we have problems with the fans pressing into the tent walls, but these sit out just far enough that they do not hit the walls. CONS: None, and I’m not being paid to say this, nor have I received any free products. These are my honest opinions - I have tried several brands over the past 6 years I have been growing and Vivosun are my faves!

Fan quality is sketchy but these guys made a bad fan good. I bought this fan for a particular purpose and found out after a couple of months use it stopped working. I tried a different wall socket, the usb hub, and nothing. So I sent a note to Vivosun and they responded in good time, and sent me a new fan. So I'm very satisfied. Stuff happens. I'll follow up if this fan stops working. It does the gig when working!

So far I've had this fan since September 2025 and I can't complain. This fan has many seating that sets it apart from any other regular fan. This fan will oscillate between fan speeds in order to make the plants think they are outside enjoying a summer breeze. The intensity of the fan can be adjusted , the higher you set it then it get a little louder but overall its super quiet in the mid to lower setting. It's important to have a fan in a grow tent since it allows plants to experience what they would in the outdoors, avoiding mold and weak plants. Since I bough it I have noticed a big difference in my plants in terms of strength and no more moldy leaves.
