Ok not better than my last anode
Well this doesn’t fit my Remington like the original anode, one side is threaded to fit the floater the other side fits the basket wing nut. The issue is the anode is wearing away unevenly, the side the plastic wing nut attaches to is almost to a nub in just 3 months.The other end doesn’t seem all copper, or it can’t be cleaned like copper on the other end. This was advertised to last longer than other anodes but in 3 months its getting very pitted and don’t know how much life it has left. Pics Pic show it’s wear in begining of August and end of August when the basket wing nut is worn so thin I probably have to throw this anode away next time. That means I got about 5 months of everyday use with this copper anode vs over 1 yr with the original remington anode.

Emits a nasty cloud of grey colored “Dust” like pig pen from Charlie Brown! This happens every two days when I go out to pick unit up and shake it. These anodes are definitely not made of same materials as original Remington anodes were. Also I am having to add chlorine again and not even sure they are working? I’m going back to the original Remington Anodes, I thought I could save a buck, but since these are sub par performance it is actually costing me more money. Don’t waste your money, I believe there is another compound added to the Remington anodes that cause the reaction to occur and kill algae.

Such a deal!
Received my order super quick. I wasn’t too sure it would be compatible with my Remington Solar Sun Shock but for the price I was willing to take a chance. Everything fit without a hitch and not only would I recommend it, I will order again when I need replacements.

Really good product. I would have some yellow algae appearing during previous summers. Since installed this summer , no algae present at all. At times my pool had no chlorine in the water, still no algae. Quite remarkable.
