I asked the roofers that I hired to install some of these in case I needed to do maintenance work. I used one today to help me as I painted a portion of the house over the garage by crawling out the bedroom window and standing on a small portion of roof that is over the entrance to the garage. I might not have made it through the day today without it. Thumbs up.

Exactly what I wanted, a permanent, low profile anchor for my cabin roof. I am not getting any younger and have equipped myself with fall protection to keep safe and doing my own repairs and maintenance. one thing I would like to point out. The kit comes with nails, use them. Don't use screws, I know I know there are some good ones out there , but two reasons. One, shear resistance, the nails might pull on a fall but they won't shear. Hardened screws can shear on such an impact. Two, because the instructions say so! lol. Seriously, they say that for a reason. God forbid if something happens, you have followed the instructions correctly and let the lawyers sort it out. 👍🏻
