An excellent entry level scope
I saw and read many reviews on this scope prior to purchasing one. In the past I've purchased all Vortex Viper Gen 2 scopes. They are a good value. I wanted to try something new so now I own a bushnell. The Bushnell scopes has many good features and a few drawbacks. The locking turrets are a great feature for this scope's price. My Vortex scopes are about $200 more and don't have locking turrets. The audible clicks when setting elevation or windage are excellent. The turrets have very little slope but align well. The 34mm tube allows more light in than the 30mm tube on my Vortex scopes. The weight of the bushnell scope is around 32 ounces. This may be a drawback for NRL competition. I have two dislikes on this Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30x56 scope. One, removing the battery cover is a pain. Bushnell should add a cover slot to allow removal of the cover with a coin. My other complaint is visibility through the scope past a magnification of 25. The scope visibility in my opinion gets milky and not as clear as visibility at a magnification of 1 to 25. Considering the price of this scope, it's a very good scope for PRS or long range shooting. If you want a scope better than the Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30x56 scope, be prepared to spend a whole lot more than $700. I would recommend this scope to a friend.

Great Scope
Excellent scope. Nice glass, focus, and daylight bright illumInation. Equals my DNT " the one". Not quite as good as my Ares ETR, but a close second. The Ares is more expensive. Was disappointed in the 6-24 matchpro, but this is far superior in all aspects. Highly recommend.

Fantastic high zoom for the price
This scope really surprised me. The glass is super clear, the turrets feel great, and the magnification range makes it easy to stretch out to distance without losing detail. It feels solid, tracks true, and honestly performs way above its price based on my experience. I've got it on my 6.5cm Sig Cross and it's the right balance of performance and weight I was looking for. I’m really glad I picked it up.

Exceptional value for outstanding features.
I run a firearms training school in Los Angeles, CA. I put this on an inexpensive Savage AXIS II Precision long gun in .223 as part of an "inexpensive build" experiment for clients. This scope is an outstanding value. This scope has features you find on much more expensive scopes. It came unblemished, flawless in appearance and function. The twisting action of the ocular and the adjustment knobs are smooth. My only complaint is that Bushnell does not offer cover caps. You really have to shop around to find something that will work. In the end, because my clients are constantly adjusting the ocular I went with an inexpensive rubber strectch style cover that can be taken off each time.

Nice scope.
Great scope for the money.

A great scope
This is all it is advertised to be. It is a bit on the bulky side and unlike scopes that have an essentially universal focus, this requires an extra dial to adjust to your distance. Not a big deal and the result is still a crisp, bright image. Also, for hunting or target shooting, you are not constantly adjusting your distance anyway. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Great optic at budget price.
I really like this optic and use it for precision shooting. Great eye relief and glass is clear. I only gave the 4 starts because at this price point, you should get some kind of protection for the glass. There were no caps or covers . Other then that, its a very nice optic at a budget entry.

Beautiful optics
Coming from a Vortex Viper PST II 1-6x, it’s impressive how much more magnification Bushnell provides for nearly the same price ($599vs$699 when on sale). The optics red illumination is impressive, it is very bright when needed. Zeroing is easier and more logical on this scope than others. The only two complaints I have is getting the battery door open was a chore. There really isn’t any decent included instruction manual either. The company seems to assume everyone will just figure it out, but I can assure you many newbies would likely get frustrated by the process. The battery door was on so tight I had to use a pair of pliers to force it open, with a microfiber wrapped around to prevent any paint chipping. The second and final complaint is the scope includes a plastic tool meant to help loosen the turrets etc, but my plastic tool simply broke when I tried to do so. I ended up having to use a coin which sadly marks the paint a bit. If you go to reviews on YT you’ll see many have the marks on the turrets. I’d like to see the groove be deeper to allow a plastic pick/pry tool to avoid paint damage.
