Roundup Path Weedkiller 5 Litre Pump 'N Go, Ready to Use

I bought this product in good faith as it was a recognisable brand and it`s been a complete disaster! There are now huge patches of stained blocks on every part of my block-paved patio that I sprayed. Even jet-washing won`t remove it and I`m considering litigating against Optima as my garden cost in excess of £5,000 to pave. I`m amazed that Optima is selling this crap considering the damage it causes. Beware, you have been warned!

We have a block paved drive which was becoming infested with weeds, grass and moss spurting up from the gaps between the blocks. Brought this to sort these out quickly and it 100% did that job with results visible very quickly ( within 24 hours) Only issue was that when it dried the spray left a white residue behind which was quite visible on the burgundy paving blocks. This faded over time and after a couple of weeks was no longer visible, and all the weeds were gone, so for me it was a minor issue and worth putting up with as the weed killing was 100%. It's only been a month or so, but nothing growing back yet, lets hope that lasts as long as it promises.

This is a simple review, it works and works fast. Usually next day there is a noticeable difference, even in winter. A tip is to spray more at the root or step on the weed so it is damaged and this will help the killer penetrate to the core of the weed. Smells quite strong but will disappear quickly. This does leave white spots all over the place when dried but small price to pay compared to having weed. The white spots usually disappear in a day.

I don't think the Amazon product description actually says what's in this, but it's just a basic glyphosate solution, 0.7% w/v. This is OK if it's on offer, but not worth paying a premium for the "Roundup" tradename - there are stronger weedkillers available with both higher concentrations of glyphosate and additional chemicals such as diquat for a double whammy.Also be aware that you're using this on paths or patios it will leave a white residue. Not a big problem as it will wash away, but a bit unsightly in the short term

This in an excellent solution for dealing with weeds provided you use it as instructed and minimise environmental damage.Slightly baffled as to why I have to rate a weedkiller for "Thickness" and "Sheerness"Sadly delivery didn't match the product, however sheer. I had three packages due to be delivered together, as confirmed by the Amazon website. Two were delivered, but not this. I questioned this with the driver who insisted he only had two packages, appearing to check his phone. However checking my computer immediately, I found it showing all three packages had been delivered. A tiresome conversation with Amazon eventually extracted an agreement to contact the driver. Finally received the package, delivered by the driver who had denied having the package. I find the Amazon call centre consistently frustrating and patronising.

My drive and garden patio was a jungle of weeds. After manually pulling out all the roots on my drive and garden patio, I used roundup to spray everywhere to ensure nothing would grow again. 7months later, no signs of the usual weeds. Does the job.

Did the job, killed the weeds. Does take quite a few days actually, more like nearly a week to fully kill them but then it was v easy to pull up the dead weeds roots and all.When I first sprayed it on I was quite concerned as it looked like it bleached the patio and drive, but that faded and was not noticeable at all after a few days.I used a pump action sprayer to avoid bending down so much.

It's a constant battle with weeds on my driveway and I never seem to be completely rid of them. I think I maybe in the past, penny pincher that I am, I've grudged the cost of weedkiller. However, I'm now something of a convert as, since using this stuff, the driveway is as clear as it has been in many a year.
