This Boker pocket knife is made in Germany. Finishingredients assembly and final sharpening are purported to be by hand. All metal parts are stamped on a small straight side press in small production runs. Bone pattern is in a pattern figure. Shaping and fit of bone is by hand with the Boker tree brand emblem. Quality matches or exceeds Case knives for about 1/3rd less. I have a comparable Case Trapper that priced higher. I love both knives. Case are made in the U.S.A. Both have long standing tradition, community history and proud local followings. If you must have a knife made in the United States then Case is probably your choice but I really like this Boker Copperhead.

What is the shade of yellow? I'm looking for a knife with yellow bone scales that are a "dark yellow" or almost orange.

There were several options of which yellow was one. Mine is the multi-color dark brown and looks just like the picture in the options.
