DIJectron Additive - Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) Cleaner (22076)

Expensive, but in fact really did clean direct injection system and cured power loss and rough idling on turbocharged IL 6. I subsequently purchased again for other cars to clean fuel systems. Easy to do, high impact.

I drive about 3000 miles a month to work and back with my 1.5L Honda Accord. I have noticed a decrease in fuel economy the last 4 months. I researched options available for fuel cleaners let alone compatibility with DI. With using Liqui Moly products in the past, I knew I would get quality results. Before DIjectron, the Avg MPGs were around 36-38. I put this in the tank with Top Tier fuel and ran it until my next refuel. I noticed an increase of 38-42 MPGs. Will continue to monitor the fuel consumption. I will continue to use this product. The item arrived timely and well packaged.

I was researching regarding how GDI engines can have potential issues with the injectors through time. This product was reviewed by multiple YouTubers and had good feedback about it. I’ve used this twice for my 2017 Honda Civic with the 1.5 turbo engine as a preventative measure from injector failure. A bit on the expensive side but cheaper than replacing an injector.

Worked very good on my older GDI Sonata. Noticeable difference before and after use. This will now be part of my routine maintenance. I would use this over the spray GDI cleaner.

Use this for engines with direct injection- had success with this in many different engines providing better injector spray when cycled. I recommend using premium (91 octane or higher) fuel while using this product for maximum cleaning effect. 2022 VW Jetta GLI w/24k miles went from 28.5mpg to a peak of over 40mpg now averaging 33-35mpg depending on driver habits.

Works as advertised.

I was advised by a good friend, that I need to add this product to my gas tank every 5,000 miles to keep the engine clean. He swears by it and I trust his knowledge as he has a 138,000 mile car he uses it on and it's still running smooth.

Awesome product for cleaning fuel injectors

Finally a good product to help stave off carbon deposition in gasoline direct injection engines. The performance benefits of having a modern, direct-injection-only gas engine are wonderful, especially with a big turbo. However carbon deposits on injectors, valves, ect are the price to pay. It was a bummer for a long time as the only way to remedy these deposits is a whole top-end teardown to walnut-blast off the carbon, or by physically pouring additives down the intake manifold of the running engine. Neither of those options are particularly convenient nor enjoyable to do. I've been looking for a while for something just like this DI-jectron which can be added to the fuel every so often to at least keep injectors at optimal performance. Have always had amazing results with liqui moly products so was very happy to find this stuff. Added it to a little over a half tank of fuel in my direct-injected 2017 Mercedes Benz with ~110,000km. I mixed it with the smallest amount of fuel as I safely could to have a more concentrated solution reaching the engine. Was not expecting much, and am always trying to make sure I'm not giving myself "placebo results". However after about a half tank of fuel was used, I noticed my MB starts up WAY quicker than it used to. Like 0.5-1 second of starter use, compared to 2-2.5 seconds before. It's difficult to tell but it also seems to have restored some acceleration as well, the engine seems more willing to build revs and pull hard. I was not expecting any noticable performance gain from something like this, however I'm convinced it's had a positive impact in that regard. I had mainly wanted something to slow the inevitable buildup of carbon within the top-half of the engine, and I'm convinced DI-jectron is doing just that. I've already ordered another bottle. It's a shame this stuff is more difficult to come by than other liqui moly additives, as this is one of my new favorites. The extra $10-$15 in price is worth it in my opinion, I always review the MSDS for these products to determine what chemicals are being employed, and DI jectron genuinely uses a novel recipe which is completely different than all other fuel additives & injector-cleaners I've researched. I hope this product remains available in Canada for a long time as it fills a very significant niche for GDI owners, I will continue to buy and use it every few months. 5 stars hands down.
