VERY happy with the quality
First of all I want to point out that this is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.I took my chances among the mixed reviews- I'm glad I did. Very glad I did. YES, this does have an out of the bag very floral rose scent... but cherry blossoms are flowers, not cherries. Not fruit. Flowers. I've always gotten hints of light rose with the scent from blooming sakura, so of COURSE powdered blossoms are going to smell very much like a cherry-rose blend. The concentration is extremely powerful. You only need 1/4 to 1/3 of what the recommended amount is to get the flavor you want. Pairs very well with anything cherry flavored, vanilla ice cream, matcha, and other floral and fruity deserts and teas.Definitely well worth the price! I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who loves sakura.

Tastes like cherry blossoms smell
THIS is AMAZING!! I'm addicted! I've always described cherry blossoms as sort've rose scent but different and I would describe the taste like that too. Very floral and sweet smelling. This powder is not sweetened at all which is great because I can control my sugar levels.

Fraudulent Product, definitely not cherry blossom
Ever since I visited Japan in 2019 during cherry blossom season and had an abundance of cherry blossom flavored foods and drinks there, I've been looking for a way to recreate that at home. So I was excited to see that Amazon offered a small selection of cherry blossom powders. I did read the other reviews before purchasing this and was hoping that the others were wrong or maybe they received unfortunately received a defective or incorrect order. But NOPE, the reviews are correct--this is NOT cherry blossom or sakura powder. It smells and tastes like rose bath soap and this is coming from someone who loves floral desserts including rose desserts. This doesn't even smell edible, it smells like they crushed bath salts and added sugar to it. Which makes the labeling of "100% sakura powder" even more offensive. It's clearly not sakura and it tastes sweet so what else are they lying about?

Made in Japan Cherry Blossom Powder
Japanese Cherry Blossom Powder has a lovely floral fragrance. I add it to my flavorless protein powdered drinks.Tsp1 = 2carbs and o sugars and 10 calories. No artificial colors or additives. Made in Japan. The package recomends adding it to hot milk.

Tastes and smells like rose
While the packaging and description says this powder should taste like Sakura, it tastes like rose. It has a strong rose scent as well. If you like rose flavored drinks, this is for you, but if you are in search of Sakura, this product did not hit the mark.

To color my food
I bought this to color my sweets for my daughter’s girls day since I didn’t want to use artificial food color. It colored nice pink and little scent/flavor of cherry blossom. I tried to see if I can enjoy as a drink but the taste wasn’t that good. The ingredients are Cherry blossom petals no other additive. I wish the price was more reasonable price, but I felt that I am buying for the quality.

Delicate & naturally sweet flavour
Highly recommend this.I initially used this to flavour the mochi for ube daifuku made for the sakura festival this year. It provided a lovely pink colour and a light floral sweetness to the mochi that paired well with the natural sweetness in the rice flour. It also surprisingly combined well with the buttery sweetness of the ube jam.Later, I followed the directions on the packet for the latte. It was a bit sweeter than I liked, but tasty. Finally, I mixed it with almond milk and made an oolong sakura boba milk tea, which was very delicious.

I love this powder. I use it as a hot drink but now that Starbucks has the cherry chai, I use the powder to make my own version without the expensive cost. It tastes so good and gives your drink that nice pink color
