My husband did all of the setup, as I arrived a day later than he to our campsite. According to him, though, it is a two-person job (his brother was there to help), but very easy overall. Took them less than an hour to get it all sorted! I should note the tentpoles are colour coded so that does make it easier to figure out which goes where. The instructions are also sewn onto the pole bag and laminated, which would be great in poor weather conditions.As far as functionality the tent is awesome. Airflow is good, material is a great quality nylon or neoprene type. Can't attest to waterproofness at this time, as we camped in the dead of July. Overall maybe the best 300ish bucks I've spent in a long time!

Finding a tent for my avalanche was amazing. I love being able to incorporate the cab and tent while camping. It was spacious and accommodating.

Awesome truck tent. Door zipper to inside truck could go down a little more. Definitely use the rain fly in case of rain or it leaks on top openings and where it connected to cab. Would have given this 5 stars but the pole around door shattered in husband's hand cutting him. Good thing he's a MacGyver as he took an old fishing pole that could almost almost bend in half and taped to each section as multiple one broke and this worked. Definitely low quality poles for how expensive tent was. Poles are color cordinated with tent so it made it easy for set up. One was able to put it together and then two to put it in the truck.

This is a super cool tent and works perfect for my avalanche! Lay the back down and take the window out and you have easy access to the cab. I have only spent one night in it but it was nice. Plenty of room. It's nice that I can still use the bed light as well. 100% recommend! There was a slight tear in the one I got but they are replacing it for me and even with the tear the tent worked great.

This tent is great! We set the tent up first time at the camp site and we put it up with in half an hour. The tent went up pretty easy and the instructions were good. We like the tent very much!

Would not go together as shown in the pictures and the instructions indicated that there were pockets for the last 2 poles. Asked for help and go this:I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the tent and that it did not perform as expected. I can see in the picture you have attached that the tent was not set up properly. Near the back of the tent (closest to the cab), the poles are tucked on the inside of the support bars where they should be on the outside. This may have caused excess tension on the pole resulting in the improper fitment. If you would like to return this product you will have to do so through your original place of purchase. Since we have not directly received your payment, we can not issue you a refund. I am sorry I could not help you further.Thank you, Brock JonesAnd then the excuse was that the Cadillac Escalade has different dimensions than a Chey Avalanche.Then I am told to return it Amazon.com that they will handle to return per their normal policies.Then I am told that I need to return it Napier in the original packaging at my own expense, which turns out to be about $40.00. That would be great if I had the original box, but since I thought that it would work as promoted and I was going camping I recycled the box. They sent a return number and a cautionary note that they would not issue a credit without the original box.It was $259, so I loose, but i am not going to spend $40 so that they can have they have a new tent with the repaired pockets to sell to someone else. I really do not want something stupid looking on my Escalade, please see photo.Do not buy from Napier Enterprises, bad Company with a Customer Relations department that has the gift of gab that is total B.S.

I love this tent! I bought this for my 2003 Avalanche Z71. Took me 30 minutes to set it up the first time when it arrived. After that, it took me about ten minutes to set up. I used it at the Oregon Coast in pouring reason and stayed completely dry inside the tent. I never lowered the midgate because I didn't need the extra room. The tailgate is left down when using the tent which leaves enough room to fit a full size air mattress inside and still have 2 or 3 feet left over. I'm 6'2" and I had no issues fitting inside.

Overall love this tent! With that being said I had read the reviews and saw multiple people say the tent poles were prone to breaking was hoping that maybe they were just being rough so made sure to be extra careful but one of the poles did in fact break on one section during takedown. Aside from that one flaw we were very happy with the tent! The part that kinda "hooks" to the cab with the elastic to seal the tent to the truck to prevent leaking worked great! We caught a couple pretty good gusts of wind and the tent held up wonderfully even without the awning staked down. Plenty of room making it comfortable for me and my 2 kids (ages 11 and 2 for reference) we look forward to using this tent many more times!
