Not a perfect product, but a bit of a magical one
So you have a desktop with the usual USB and DP/HDMI ports. You have a laptop (Macbook, Windows, whatever) that can do charging/video output/peripheral input via one USB-C connection. And you want to have a desk space where you can use the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse for these computers with minimal faff and minimal wires. Seems simple, right? Except this is literally the only product I've found that handles this all seamlessly! My wife and I share a desk, and this is perfect for allowing me to keep my desktop tower at that desk, while also making it simple for either of us to plop down and use our work or personal laptops with a second screen and good peripherals. One button press, and you're good to go. I can't recommend this enough for people in a similar situation (which I'm guessing is an increasing population in the post-COVID work from home age?) This isn't a perfect product - as others have said, it's quite plastic-y, the wired remote is a bit annoying, and it's certainly pricey. I would love to see competition for this device from some of the other big players in the dongle/hub market (UGreen?) However, if you're someone with a similar setup who doesn't mind paying a bit extra to save desk space and have the minimal wires possible, this is a great product. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Poor Build Quality for the Money
Given the cost of this KVM relative to others on the market I was expecting a premium product, unfortunately this was not the case. The build quality feels very poor, the entire case is made of a cheap plastic. I ended up returning it and opting for a much cheaper alternative with a better quality build.

Works perfectly
I work from home and it can power my home PC and my works Laptop by swapping between the pair. Soo handy as other KVMs can't do this.

I got this device today. So far so good with using it. The device comes with a USB-C - USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-A, HDMI and DisplayPort cables too. Its all you'll need, and the USB-C to USB-C cable is high-spec. The only technical hiccup is Mac OS refusing to see two separate external displays one through DisplayPort and the other through HDMI, but the advertisement mentions this issue and it is a Mac OS problem. I remedied it by using a separate HDMI on one of my monitors and switching its input. Not ideal, but also not a problem caused by the device. If I were to change one thing, I would reverse the designation of the computers. "PC1" refers to the laptop connected just through USB-C while "PC2" refers to the desktop connected through USB-C, HDMI and DP. It makes more sense for the Desktop to be PC1 as its more permanently fixed.

I've got two FHD 24" monitors that are fairly basic with a single DP and HDMI input each and wanted to find a KVM that worked with my Mac Mini M4 as well as my work laptop (Surface laptop) or my wife's (HP). Most KVMs that could handle two monitors for Mac were significantly more, and this one works. The laptops use the USB-C input into the KVM switch. The Mac has a USB-C input for peripherals, then I use the HDMI out of the Mac to the KVM, and use a USB-C to DP cable from the Mac to the KVM as well. This has worked well and have gotten everything to work as planned. The Mac successfully runs with extended display across both monitors. Other bonuses, the build quality on the Anker is nice. The remote has a magnet built into the base which helps it stick to a monitor base and keep it fixed on the desk. Objectively, I wish it were a tad smaller, to keep it tucked away in my under-desk tray, but it's definitely smaller than most KVMs so I can't complain. It does require a separate power supply that has a pretty big transformer brick, but again, it charges the laptops quickly through USB-C and simplifies plugging in so I can't complain too much. Great quality product that does exactly what I needed at a reasonable price point.

the docking station doesn't detect the laptop when the system is powered on or after sleep. I have to unplug the usb-c cable and plug it back in. After a month, the switch to toggle between computers stopped working. Not recommended at all. Found kceve docking station less expensive and has better performance than this one.

I am a relatively technologically capable individual. I did my research on KVM's and decided this was the best shot at getting one that worked and didn't cost me over $600 USD. My setup: Dell work laptop Older ASUS personal laptop 2 HP monitors with only HDMI inputs My goal was to be able to switch between laptops and USB inputs for both monitors in the push of a button. When I hooked up my monitors using an HDMI to DisplayPort cable, that monitor did not work. Fair is fair, as they said not to use those cables once in the description. So, I had someone bring over 2 monitors that had both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs just to see if I needed to get new monitors. The KVM worked perfectly on the HDMI out just as it had before, but the monitor that was hooked up with the DisplayPort cable would not recognize the proper resolution of the second monitor. I tried resetting drivers, updating drivers, contacting the support staff, and switching cables on the displays. Nothing worked. The resolution would never actually be recognized, and so I was left with black bars on the sides of the screen. I went to Reddit, of all places, to find that this KVM, even though stating it can handle it, could not properly show anything over a 30Hz refresh rate. At that point, this KVM would be more expensive than your monitors or you would notice the difference from dropping your PC settings. If you are not constantly having to switch back and forth between computers and just are trying to change things without having to unplug and move cables, stop overthinking it. Your monitor most likely has more than one input, just change the source on the monitor. To make sure your USB devices switch, there are USB switchers for pretty cheap on here, I got one from UGreen for $40, and it even has the remote switch. If you have to constantly switch between monitors throughout the day, this is not for you. The best option is going to be something that is at least going to set you back $600 or more. The only redeeming thing about this is that the switch included is magnetized. Still kinda useless if you don't have something metal to attach it to, but I did. So, yea. That's worth a star, I guess.

This is a very nicely built docking station with plenty of ports and good features. I had some issues setting it up properly. Here are a couple of things that helped me, in case they help you. I had trouble with the PC 1 (USB-C) input. My laptop worked fine when I used the PC 2 (USB-C+HDMI) input, but with Input 1 the video output would flicker for a while (while USB still worked) before finally giving up. I was able to resolve this issue by using a separate power supply with my laptop. While that means two things I have to plug in, instead of just one, that's good enough for my use case. The PD on this docking station only outputs 65 watts. I think that's not enough power for my laptop and that's why it was struggling. I also found that the DisplayPort output doesn't work very well. To demonstrate I used the PC 1 (USB with DisplayPort Alt Mode) and plugged in two monitors. One into the HDMI and one into the DisplayPort output. All works well. When I switch to PC 2 (USB+HDMI), only the monitor connected to the HDMI displays. Someone in another review said this had to do with the DP not being a passthrough and I believe that. I'd plan to use HDMI for your monitor. If you have two monitors... good luck? Maybe you're more technically inclined than me and can figure it out. Despite being odd to set up, this docking station/KVM switch should serve me well.
