Easy install for any DIYer!
Easy to install and it works perfectly! I highly recommend the sensor for anyone with a failed solar sensor.

Night Lights
This was a replacement for the electric eye previously installed. Works like clockwork. On in the evening, off at daybreak without fail. Very reliable!

Easy To Install
This works just like the original one that I needed to replace. Easy to install, just don't undo the existing wire connections until you're ready to do the job. Take photos with your phone of EXACTLY how the existing unit is connected to the wires, then install the new one one connection at a time.

The photo eye I received does NOT look like the one advertised
There seems to be some sort of problem with the information listed on SPC-688 vs what is being shipped. The photo shows a switch with a round side that would match up with the inside of of a lamp post. The switch I received is flat on all sides and a label on it reads: FOR USE ON A FLAT SURFACE OF A TYPE 4X ENCLOSURE. The information also says the lamp post only needs a 3/8" hole for mounting, the one I received requires a 11/16" hole. The part number on the packaging reads LSPC-688. Performance: Despite some of this conflicting info this photo eye works well. There is a smaller photo that shows the correct dimensions with the photo eye I received. Included was a gasket that fits on the outside of the post and seals water out.

Works!
I built a new house recently and the brilliant electricians installed four recessed porch lights on three different circuits! And, one light was wired as continually on! 🙄 I pulled the light, cut a small hole in the vinyl soffit for the sensor to protrude, and wired it in. It works great. Now at least, the light only stays on through the night. As the light is over the stairwell, it works out.

Waste of Money - Again
More junk from China. Stopped working after 4 months. My money is on the seal. Second photo cell I bought through Amazon. No more. No idea how the rating remain so high. Dont waste your money.
