This is a beautiful salad bowl. It's a little bit on the small size; but I can only seat 6 around my table anyway, so it's fine. It's different, looks a little rustic, and plenty of people have complimented me on it. I bought it and put it in my suitcase to bring back to Ecuador with me. Glad I did - it was worth it.

And larger than I thought it would be! It's so pretty and will come in handy for a large salad. It's currently on display in my kitchen as a fruit bowl and I love it! It would make a great bowl to use when entertaining and it would also make a great gift. This is my second bowl from this brand and I highly recommend them. I treat this with food grade mineral oil to keep it's rich color.I hope this helps, happy shopping!

Bought it as a gift to someone - it wasn't packaged perfectly to prevent damage, but thankfully there wasn't any damage. Wooden bowl arrived nicely oiled but once you wash it, you'd have to oil it to prevent cracking. She likes it.

Bowl looks very nice and is a good size. There is one small chip in the wood but nothing major. I will probably be buying more in the future.

I really love this fruit bowl. It's such a beautiful addition to my organic home decor. So detailed and well made. I totally recommend.

****The company was very nice about issuing a refund or replacing the bowl. I opted for refund only because I didn't want to take a chance on the same thing happening. The bowl was beautiful, but it could've been more securely wrapped! I received the bowl earlier than expected, (yay) but when I opened it, it was broken! A bowl that pretty should've been wrapped better than with some paper. And knowing how rough the mail systems are, maybe the words "FRAGILE TRY TO HANDLE WITH CARE!" should've been put on it! The box it came in looked like it had been in a soccer game!

When I received product it was packed and looked with great care. It made me think wow! I got a bargain because it looked like something you would buy in an expensive store! I will buy from this seller and store again!!!!
