Huge window!!! Super easy to acquire the reticle. I can’t wait to shoot a match with this. I had to make small modifications to my holsters for use, but nothing too crazy.

I am a fan of Holosun's electronic sights, I have several different models on several different firearms. This HE507Comp-GR was mounted onto a semi-auto 12 ga shotgun and it has performed perfectly through several practice sessions and through a tactical class. The various reticle options, the shake awake feature and the side mounted battery tray are great features.

Great optic with a large window

This optic is dope. I have it mounted on a Beretta 1301. It handles the stout recoil of 12ga slugs and buckshot. After hundreds of rounds, it has not lost its zero.

Mounted easily onto my Glock 34. I use it for competitive shooting and it's easy to acquire the site picture because the window is large enough (but not too large). I have a known-brand OWB holster and have had zero issues with draw or re-holstering. I have the green light model and the settings are easy to adjust.I asked a question why this product shows frequently returned and the answers were all that it's a good product and must be being returned because someone bought the wrong model.I am pleased with this model and would buy it again.

I did have issues with using a Springer Precision mounting plate for my Springfield Prodigy 5". The issue that I had (no fault of the green dot optic itself) is that I could not find the appropriate length bolt for the mount to the gun. Either too short and therefore does not hold the mount to the gun or too long and the bolt length interferes with the firing pin. Very annoying. I did NOT realize this UNTIL taking the Prodigy to the range with the 507COMP mounted to it. It just didn't fire. Take the 507COMP and mounting plate off and the gun fires. Put the plate ONLY on with the slightly longer bolt and the gun doesn't fire. My local gun shop looked at this and couldn't work out which bolts to use either. The gun has now gone to a gunsmith to file down the longer bolt "very slightly" to allow the mount to ber attached without interfering with the firing pin of the gun.I emailed Springer Precision about the screw length. They are sending out new screws to fix the problem. They did comment that Prodigy tolerances do vary but that they had not heard of one failing to fire using their mounts.
