Ideal Dive Knife / Outdoor Blade This dive knife is expertly crafted and extremely sharp right out of the box. The blade is weighty yet well balanced, has a good length to it and fits in your hand well. The sheath lock is incredibly strong: that knife is not going anywhere - no accidental slip ups with this one. The price is a steal! Couldn’t recommend enough for casual outdoor enthusiasts and experienced hunters alike!

The knife appears to be fair quality, short serrated cutting edge and line cutter, point with small cutting edge. The cutting edge were not up to my expected sharpness out of the box a quick touch on diamond sharpener changed that. Then some silicone grease to protect metal. On with the scabbard... There's the strange part of it, the release is different making it a two hand process really. I seems counter intuitive to me but securely latches. You pull back on the release to remove the knife. Straps are definitely for smaller person than myself, not a negative review point by me overall. Now the 2 tiny screws that are on the latching mechanism I hope are just stoppers. On the backside of the scabbard is a removable piece to install on a strap with 2 screws. It's made of hard plastic material so it might crack from hard impact. I feel it's worth what I spent on it, it meets my cost limit for terminal tool. Dive knife cutting tool use it lose it not a lot of $$ lost. I've lost several over the years. I used a Bic lighter to give a scale to the size of the knife and scabbard.

This dive knife is a classic. The shape of the blade along with the different edges make it a very versatile knife in any situation. The retention clips hold the knife in well and it is a good value for the money so you aren't too heart broken if it gets lost in the depths of the ocean.

The way the knife connects and disconnect from the plastic holder is great, but the rubber straps that go around your leg or arm are weak and can un-buckle without warning.

Knife is OK, the strap clamps are so weak and extremely poor quality they y disconnect by themselves when they are not even tightly but instead lightly strapped, there is a 100% chance who ever used this will lose it in the ocean, also the overall plastic sheath is extremely poor quality and the life is very hard to take out.

I just received the knife and sheath. The knife is one piece, and stainless steel, which for water of damp environment is good. The serrations on one edge are very even from one to the other. Too many knives with serrations the spacing from point to point is not the same so when you got to touch up the serrations you need different sizes of hones to touch them up. The sheath needs to be redesigned, I tried to remove the blade one handed, couldn’t do it. If you are in the water with the knife on your lower leg, you need to use two hands, in an emergency you may only have one free hand. The retention is very good but accessiblity is bad. I’m going to keep the knife and make a sheath to my satisfaction.
