Hibachi Miso Ginger Dressing & Sauce – Japanese Steakhouse Salad Dressing, Perfect for Salads, Veggie Dips & Marinades, 12oz

Delicious. I ate salads 4 days in a row just because this dressing was that good.

I went on a mission to find Benihana’s famous magic sauce — you know, the one that makes you want to grill onions into volcanoes and fling shrimp tails like a hibachi ninja. Instead, I stumbled on this Japanese Steakhouse Salad Dressing. I figured, “Hey, maybe it’s the undercover cousin of the sauce I’m craving.” Well, let me tell you — this dressing turned my sad home salad into a front-row hibachi experience. I swear I heard sizzling sounds and faint applause from my fridge. I even tried to toss the salad in the air with a spatula (10/10 would not recommend unless you enjoy wiping lettuce off the ceiling). Does it taste exactly like Benihana’s? Not quite. But it’s close enough to make you yell “Arigato!” at your refrigerator while pretending you’re a teppanyaki master.

Did not taste like the ginger dressing in Japanese hibachi restaurants at all.

Almost like being at one of those Japanese hibachi restaurants when they serve you salad with a miso ginger dressing on it. It wasnt as good as the real mccoy, but it was a close second. Good ginger flavor, but not overpowering. A culinary delight for the taste buds!

It definitely didn't taste like I was expecting to. SLIGHTLY similar to the real thing but no way the same, especially for the price i paid. I will not purchase again.

When I decided to try to find a purchasable dressing matching what I had enjoyed in Japanese restaurants (in the US, I should mention), I had no idea how difficult that would be. However, this ginger dressing matches *very* closely what I recall as the taste and texture of those dressings. Excellent! In terms of packaging, the tops all were appropriately affixed -- and the 3 bottles were shipped in that little cardboard contraption shown on the Amazon web page. It took me a moment to figure out how to get it open without destroying it (the key is to open the bottom of the "box"). Anyway, full marks. Will order again, once I enjoy these bottles! Update 5/21/2024 Well, I did order again, this time two sets of 3 -- so, six glass bottles. When they arrived, my first thought was "Good grief! Talk about over-packaging!" However ... we are after all talking about 6 rather fragile glass bottles. And, all six arrived intact. Given that, not over-packaged! No change in the rest -- good stuff.

It has the most wonderful taste I could have ever imagined!
