Very fun to see who can get the highest number
Took this to work and a few gatherings and everyone wanted to see who could get the highest number when squeezing the football. It records a number the harder you squeeze it. Even the kids wanted to do it. The hand gripper has a rechargeable battery as well which takes a USB C to recharge. You can see your progress over time as your number will get higher the more you squeeze it. Can be used for exercise or fun or both.

Not accurate but still useful
If I place my index, middle and ring fingers flat on the three grooves on the ball, I’ll get a reading that seems skewed to the low side as I squeeze. I say this because, if I were to place the tips of those fingers on the grooves and squeeze, I get another, significantly higher reading (even though I can’t squeeze as hard using my fingertips). Also , however hard I squeeze this ball, the reading is substantially lower than what I get on my Camry dynamometer. I trust the latter more than the Diotuss ball because I have verified various users’ grip strength using the Camry. Therefore my sense is that the Diotuss product is useful mainly to track progress on grip strength, on a relative basis (as long as one is careful to use consistent finger placement), and should not be relied on for measuring grip strength per se. The other mildly positive aspect of the product is that, being a round shape, it is slightly more comfortable to use than the dynamometer. That said, the ball seems small relative to men’s size L or XL hands; fingertips on such hands tend to reach and partially obstruct the little screen that shows the amount of pressure being exerted on the ball.3/6/24 update: after the above review was posted, the seller reached out to me and offered to issue a full refund or send me another, upgraded grip ball of theirs. I actually declined their offer because, as I wrote above, the grip ball I have is still useful for training and tracking progress on my grip strength. I should also add that, given its small size, and the feedback on the pressure exerted, it does lend itself to being used several times a day. While it would have been nice to get a precise measurement of grip strength each time this ball is used, the most important thing for me is that it gets used. Moreover, I have always maintained that you buy customer service together with a product, and in this case the seller has demonstrated an earnest desire to make customers of their products happy. Therefore I am adding a star to my review (despite not receiving any financial or material benefit from this follow-up review).

Simple, accurate
My grip strength dropped 90% while sick.I am mostly recovered, except my grip.Grip is directly related to longevity. This improves my grip. It’s a slow, steady process.

Nice
I'm extremely satisfied with this hand grip strengthener after purchasing it. The quality is outstanding, with fine craftsmanship and a comfortable grip. After using it for a while, I've noticed a significant improvement in my hand grip strength, and my muscles feel more toned. In summary, this hand grip strengthener is a very wise purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their hand strength.

Good for competetive families....
I got this for a family member who does bouldering (rock climbing) as a gift. She has several other hand strengthening products, but this was the only one shows the strength of your grip. Of course as soon as it was opened, everyone had to try it, and try to beat her in grip strength (no one did.) It was a fun and different gift to give.

Trash
Terrible product. Was a waste of time and money I wish I could get back. It broke after one squeeze

Up to 220 Pounds?
Granted I am an older man, but I bought this to try to strengthen the muscles in my hands. Firstly, there is very little, if any, "give" to the device. You squeeze it and the numbers tell you how much your hand power is - at least I think that is the situation as there are no instructions at all. Anyway, with my right hand, the highest number I could get was 62.5, and with my left which is the one I am trying to especially build up I could only get a 14. Both feel the same on the "egg" - there is no difference in the egg's give between the numbers. I can get the same response by using a block of wood. For me useless, as I am not trying to impress anyone by getting higher numbers on the readout. A tennis ball would be cheaper and better.UPDATE: Seller has contacted me and trying to resolve my concern
