Good flavor. Size portion is enough for 1 person. Slightly salty. All well balanced
Nice product. The portion is enough for one person's meal. The flavor is good. It may be a bot towards the salty taste but is minimal. All well balanced and hopefully nutritious.

Yummy!
This is delicious smoked mackerel and I was delighted to find it on Amazon. I grew up in England and smoked mackerel is very inexpensive there and available in every supermarket and delicatessen. When I moved to the States I was very disappointed to find it is barely available in the supermarkets and quite expensive. I received my order overnight and was delighted although I was surprised that it arrived in a tin with water as in England it is always a vacuum pack and often comes with black pepper seasoning or other hot spices, nevertheless this was quite delicious by this brand and I will purchase it again

Smaller fillets than expected
I love smoked Mackerel and enjoyed the flavor in this can: however was disappointed in the size and the intensity of the smoked flavor.

Excellent Product
This product is excellent. Exactly what you are looking for. After trying several brands I found the consistency of this one to always what you expect. The other brands I tried before were hit and miss. I started eating mackerel, salmon and sardines several years ago and I discovered that there is tremendous inconsistency in the product. I have learned that there can be a lot of disappointment in other brands. But not this one. It can take several days to receive so order early and in quantity if you don't want to run out.

Can of throw away
I was really surprised after reading the reviews that the quality was so low. Maybe I got a bad can? It was mostly throw away...little pieces and skin. I did get a small amount I could actually eat, but I mean small. It tasted ok.....but its hard to say because it was like one small taste. Threw the rest away as not edible. I have been looking for a quality canned smoked Mackerel for regular consumption, but I could not recommend this due to waste. Maybe I'll try again, but I don't know if I want to throw away more money.
