I'm on my second pair. The first lasted five years until I lost them. They do exactly what they say, reducing db's, whilst retaining the overall sound balance and quality. I'm a gigging musician, and I use the etymotics for protection on stage.

I have Tinnitus and I need to where earplugs daily to save stop my ringing from getting worse. I have tried many brands and found that these are the best overall. I haven't found any stronger earplugs for blocking noise (although I still double up with noise cancelling headphones in particularly noisy situations). You can still hear people talking but if you struggle at times you can just pull them out slightly very easily and push them back in without any struggle. Nothing like foam earplugs. They are also very discreet with their transparency. I don't know why all earplugs aren't like this because they are far more noticable. One thing I would recommend is to cut off the pokey bits at the end because it makes it look like you put pen lids in your ears. As long as you have a bit of nail, you won't need them to easily extract them from your ears.

These do lower the ambient noise a fair bit. I find they help and i can still have conversations.

Wanted some new ear defenders for wearing on my bike with an open face helmet. First when putting them into my ear they would not go in due to the air inside my ear compressing so preventing the plug going in even when pulling the ear as per the instructions. When I did get them in they hurt a lot and after my first ride I pulled them out and they were covered in blood. This does not happen with any of the other similar ear plugs I have. So back to the foam compress plugs, still cannot be beaten for value or sound proofing.

A solid, inexpensive solution for enjoying live music without annihilating your hearing. The reduction in volume is even across the frequencies so the musical experience isn't impaired. The best choice in hearing protection short of custom fitted plugs.

Isolation is excellent but was quite painful to get in properly. ordered loop experience pro and have had no issues

Please please avoid!!! Bought these based on all the good reviews for a seated concert that I knew would be loud, now I have to go and see a doctor!!! I very gently removed them during a concert interval but the foam tip on one plug came off in my ear, really scary!!! No way to pull it out and didn't want to push it in further. Lucky there was a medical team on hand that took me to the medical room were they could remove it with tweezers. I still have a ringing in my ear a week later and now have to see a doctor, just hope I have no permanent damage!!! These are dangerous and should be banned, I followed all instructions. Please please don't risk your ears and research other options

Veo reseñas que dicen que estos tapones son un timo. Me temo que muchas de estas personas o han comprado mal la talla o no se los saben poner. Recomiendo seguir las indicaciones del fabricante. Para que los tapones funcionen como es debido hay que empujarlos dentro del canal auditivo, profundamente. Son los mejores que he probado. Los resultados son tan buenos que hacen que no merezca la pena pagar 150 euros por unos tapones a medida (también los he tenido y en la comparación los Etymotic no salen tan mal parados). OJO: no son para dormir con ellos. Yo los uso para conciertos (tocando y como público).

Uso i tappi Etymotic da 6 anni ormai, ed è il 4 paio che compro. Per quanto mi riguarda funzionano molto bene, li ho usati in molte situazioni di concerti estremi e lavoro sul palco e anche come musicista in situazioni di volumi molto alti. Abbassano il volume senza tagliare frequenze, quello che senti risulta definito e la riduzione del è sufficiente per le situazioni live. Prodotto ottimo, non mi devono mai mancare in tasca.

They must have lost the supplier for the silicone trapezoid squeeze case. That is the only way I can see the decision to switch to the hard plastic snap case. It pops open at random. The hole for the key chain wore through after only a couple days. Even if that weren't a problem, the hard plastic is just begging to get broken. Not to mention it makes your key chain sound stupid and feel cheap. Don't believe the pictures either. If you find a listing that looks like it has the old case, it probably actually doesn't. It is *essential* to get the case right to ensure that it is painless to always carry on your key chain. If that's not happening, you're going to find yourself in unexpected situations where you need them but don't have them.

facili da indossare, comode e molto efficienti, abbattono uniformemente le frequenze e proteggono l'udito in ambienti estremamente rumorosi (io le uso nei festival di musica elettronica) pur consentendo di intrattenere una conversazione. peccato per l'assenza di una esaustiva descrizione dell'oggetto: mi sono arrivate in versione Large, rimandate indietro senza spese, ho ricevuto in breve tempo la versione Standard, adatta alla maggior parte degli apparati uditivi.
