Immersion is key
Brilliant novel, well written, engaging, and a great conclusion to the trilogy. Having cosmetic packs in game (The Division 2) from characters in the book is also a brilliant way to tie it to the source material

A great ending to a Greater series.
Thomas has yet again Smashed it with this final in the installment! The Division franchise hasn't had as good a set of expanded lore as the 3 Operation Crossroads books. The final Book ended on an amazing, albeit brutal high, giving closure to book 2's amazing cliffhanger, a return of old characters, brilliant tie-in's to current The Division 2 events and probably the most brutal example of the terror to fight against a Hunter as a Division Agent.I absolutely recommend this series to any other Division fan, even as someone who doesn't often settle down and read a book, all three have been Incredible and I've found myself unable to put the book away.I very much hope we'll see a new Division series from Thomas in the future.

Another brilliant instalment
I’ve said it before but it should be repeated that one of the reasons I love post-apocalyptic or ‘after the world as we known it’ ends fiction is because of the opportunity it gives us (well authors) to explore humanity. Now while Tom Clancy’s The Division game may have a more clear cut line of good and bad I have loved the way Parrott explores what is good or bad and understands that humanity can’t be black and white all the time, there will always be shades of grey. This instalment of Parrott’s tie-ins still as everything you could want and expect. It’s full on action, adventure, a bit of banter, canon typical violence and a brilliant storyline and host of characters. I could hardly put this one down but my review is a little later because life got in the way. This is a real rollercoaster of emotions and actions. I loved that the old team and of course Maria are back and I adored the idea of found family, Maria’s squad would try and find and bring Maria home. There are lots of twists and turns as well which are perfectly executed with Parrott’s writing.I have to say I love Parrott’s writing. They bring the world of Division to life and each and every character feels well developed and well, real. These books have been a perfect addition and extension of to ?? The Division canon and fandom. As a fan of both the games and the novels I have to say I believe the novels are winning a little bit because they delve that much deeper into the characters that are trying to survive in this world. A definite must for fans.
