The kids loved these. We took them camping, and the kids had a blast catching so many bugs. The only thing I would have liked is maybe a carrying bag or backpack to put all the small pieces in. The kids were losing all the small pieces.

We were thrilled to unbox the "Exploring" bug catching kit, complete with all the essentials for a budding entomologist: net, tweezers, a viewing pot, and what we can only assume is a highly coveted field guide. Imagine our surprise, however, when flipping through the identification cards, we stumbled upon a creature of myth and legend – the elusive "Ladybird"! My four-year-old son, a seasoned expert in "Ladybugs" (having captured precisely zero thus far), was instantly captivated by this foreign, slightly fancier-sounding beast. A new quest was born!Our backyard safari immediately commenced, the goal no longer mere bug observation, but the capture of this fantastical "Ladybird." We scoured every leaf, under every rock, desperately seeking the creature depicted on the card, complete with its mysterious phonetic spelling "[lexdiba:rd]". We found plenty of common garden inhabitants: ants, beetles, a brave spider or two, and even several perfectly lovely, albeit utterly disappointing, "Ladybugs." Alas, the "Ladybird" remained frustratingly out of reach, perhaps residing only in the faraway lands where bug kits are labelled with such delightful, confusing names. Five stars for sparking an international bug hunt, zero stars for the existential crisis caused by the absence of our mythical prey!

Bought as a gift for our grandson. I'm a Scout Leader and when I saw this on the wish list I just had to purchase it. The set comes with a so much stuff! I like the cooking tripod complete with "fire". Little man is happy and enjoys "camping". It's nice to have the bag to pack everything in. No complaints.Quality as expected for a set like this.

It was ok. Could have been bigger. But she liked it.

Cute set but the humidifier “smoke” from the fire stopped working after a little over a week. Big bummer it was the cutest part! And the part my nephew liked the most
