Easy to use
I had to clone a hard drive using SATA. Done the job easily. Plug the old drive in to the device and the new one in to the computer. Purchased a USB C to normal USB for the computer. Easy to use.

Fantastic. All my old disc drives back to 2008 recovered
Have meant to do this for years. Got a grip this month and this kit has been flawless. With DiscDrill I was even able to access a NAS drive from my old WD My Cloud. Rapid transfer to modern drives. Also meant peace of mind because oftimes I had backups of backups. Now I know what I have and what I don't! It's not indestructible in build quality but a little care and it's been going non stop for me the last few days. Excellent.

Nice bit of kit
This unassuming piece of tech, just plugs in and works straight away. I didn't see any instructions in the box though, but it is obvious where the cables go and where the drive goes. Plugged it in and recognised the drive I had straight away and was able to recover the data from it.

great hard drive retrieval tool
I used this product to retrieve photos from an old hard drive. It was easy to use and worked quickly. I would recommend this product if you are looking to save old family photos from old hard drives.

Case design issue.
Works fine, BUT my SSD with an integrated heatsink would not plug into it as the case gets in the way. I had to take it apart to get my SSD in.

Well worth it
Dropped a 6tb hard drive with ALL my music on there. Was quoted £400 to rescue the hard drive Looked at this and for the price it's worth a punt. Once I'd figured out where to do the connection it was as quick as a click. All music rescued. The product is totally recommended but persevere if it's not obvious
