I've burnt my fingers on heated batons, burnt my hair on tongs & cannot master the back of my hair with straighteners. Oh I tried the Babyliss automatic curler too & got my hair stuck in it! These Curlformers are dead easy, 10-15 mins max to put in. Sometimes the hook doesn't quite grab the hair so I just twist the top of the shaft to get a decent grip then just pull through. If it doesn't pull straight through, abort that one, comb the area you've separated & just try again. I make sure I condition well & use leave in conditioner or serum before I set the curlers. Absolutely love them & no heat damage is a massive bonus! Plus they come in a cute organza bag to keep them safely hidden from your teenage daughter!

Aside from the fact that they are a little too expensive, I really like them. They are very easy to put on and very easy to take off. I ordered the set of 24 pieces / 60cm, so that I could use them on my daughter as well . I was pleasantly surprised when I found 30 pieces instead of 24 , because my daughters hair is thicker.🙂The curls are bouncy and well defined and they look like they are going to last ,will see ...

I ordered these as well as as the 40 Super Long Spiral Curls Curlformers Styling Kit. I have very frizzy hair which is prone to dryness, and used these on damp hair with a bit of coconut oil and shea butter smoothed on.The results were lovely - very shiny and smooth. It does take quite a while for my hair to dry with these in (about 16 hours) so only do these when you know you won't need to leave home for a while.One tip is to make sure that you don't attach them at the very roots of your hair (leave a little gap of about half an inch) - it will make trying to sleep with these in a LOT more comfortable.I really think these will work on any hair type. If you've got extremely thick, heavy and long hair you may find the results don't last as long but otherwise I do think they will work well for anyone.The reason for 3, not 5 stars is that the styling hooks provided are far too short for these curls. I ended up having to use the styling hooks from the other kit (Super Long Spiral Curls) I ordered. If I hadn't happened to have the other styling kit, putting these Curlformers in would easily have taken me twice as long.I highly recommend that Curlformers provide the longer hooks with these instead of the ones they currently provide in the kit.It would also be nice if there could have been more Curlformers in the kit (more like 28 instead of 24) as I found I had to made some of my hair segments a little larger than I'd have liked.Otherwise, a good product which I would recommend if you're looking for a way to curl your hair without heat.

Purchased for my 12 year old to try as she has straight, shoulder length hair and wants curls, bit of trial and effort to get used to them with a bit of 'ouch' until we sussed how much hair will easily pull through. Drawbacks are that there are not enough curlers in the pack (16 came in the box with the hook) which means I have to purchase further packs. We have used on wet hair and left them in for a few hours, does make lovely curls but they don't stay in very long so I am looking at using some sort of styling gel/mousse etc to try with them,once you have the hang of them they don't take long to put it.

Was really excited to get these based on all the reviews and videos I've watched. When it finally came, it had no extensions for the hooks so the whole kit was essentially useless as the hooks alone are not long enough to go through the curlformers. When I spoke to Amazon, they could only ask me to return the whole thing and refund it instead of contacting the seller to send me the additional parts missing. I was told that I'd have to order the same thing again. Although I have to credit Amazon for dealing with the issue swiftly, I am very unhappy that the package came with missing parts to begin with and that I'd have to go to the trouble of returning the whole thing instead of getting the additional parts I needed sent to me.

Really, really love these. I won a packet in a raffle and fell in love with them. I have thick, curly hair which I try not to blow dry straight all the time and these are the perfect solution. The curls in this size are loose and very romantic looking. I sleep with the curlformers in my hair at night after I wash it, so when I wake up my hair is dry and styled. It feels very soft too and looks super shiny, as the curlformers seem to keep the moisture in and of course there's no hairdryer action so it doesn't dry out your hair. This is my new hair solution!

Easy enough to use when you get the hang of it although I had to look on youtube to get a better idea as instructions not very clear. However in some places they curled but not very many. Gave my hair a bit of body and volume which is nice but not what I bought them for and not what product is sold as. I have shoulder length hair and found the 16pieces were enough but others may wany more. Will maybe try again overnight although i can't imagine these would be very comfortable. Would love to give it more stars as I was looking forward to trying it having seen this on youtube but sadly unless it does the job I can't give it more.

I love curlformers. I have read that the barrel curl ones are for coarser or thicker hair but I had such success with the spiral curl ones that I thought I would take the chance. Unfortunately, I should have believed what I had read. If you have thin or fine hair that doesnt really hold a curl, you would be better going for the spiral curlformers. That said, this is a quality product, lovely packaging and delivered quickly
