Great coolant expansion tank for my 1970 camaro. The 70 didnt have one and I wanted to add one that i could hide to keep the OEM look. Used a motorcycle mount to mount it behind my front grill. Have had for 2 years now. No leaks and keeps my garage floor dry from overflow expansion. Top threads on nice and the tube that comed with it connect to the radiator is high quality. If you are looking for something like I was get this!!

Every radiator needs a overflow tank and this overflow tanks is nice and small and you can mount it just about anywhere on the engine bay. You would have to drill two holes on your engine bay to mount it. Just keep that in mind when you are installing it, I do recommend if you are installing it to keep it level about the same height as the radiator itself they also supply plenty of hose for the overflow tank, I was able to trim mine and only use a small portion of it . It comes in color, but I do another color if you’re not into that. I happen to have a black hose in my garage and I was able to use it. The finishing looks very good and seem to be very good as well. It’s made of high-quality aluminum and it’s very sturdy. Keep in mind if you are installing it, there’s no level indicator on the side of the bottle so you would have to use your judgment and look over it from time to time. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Good product at a reasonable price. Good finish. Works well in my modified classic car. Would have preferred black coolant line instead of orange but that was easy to change out.

Older small block Chevy in ‘46 Chevy pickup restomod. Keeping right coolant level in radiator causes it to pee from overflow a little after stopping when really hot. Not a good look at a car show, meet & greet or friends driveway. This fit the bill perfectly. Small and mounted on inner fender near radiator. Overflow tube from rad cap to can. Big enough to hold maybe a quart of coolant. Just enough for my restomod to not embarrass itself. Build quality very good. I’m happy with the purchase.

RYANSTAR Universal car Radiator Coolant Tank 800ml Coolant Expansion Tank For Overflow. This is a small aluminum tank that is perfect to fit in small spaces as you can see in my attached photos. I removed the GM windshield tank that was partially blocking my photo of the bracket I made. I used about a foot of galvanized heavy strapping. The photo shows how I bent the strap but not that I also bent a few inches under the tank as a “rest” so if the clamps loosened, the tank wound not drop. I used the original radiator shroud bolt to mount the bracket. This is a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle, unrestored, so everything is not all shined up. I used a drill to enlarge the vent hole a small amount as the original is VERY small and the coating of the tank partially blocked the original vent. The overall workmanship, fit and finish, is quite good. I substituted a black piece of hose I had for the bright orange one that came in the package. With everything in place, you don’t see the bracket and it looks good. I would recommend this to friends if you need a SMALL overflow tank for your radiator or to fit a classic car where you have limited room around your engine compartment.
