Doesn't take up too much space
Looks really nice, spacious inside and at top can still hold tea cannister etc. Good buy, albeit a little pricey

Great bread bin
The quality is great. You can place things on top as it is flat unlike other bread bins. It has a lot of capacity and it is easy to clean

A brand I feel I can trust.
Our new Brabantia rectangular bread bin arrived a day early (and just before our Xmas guests began to arrive). It looks great. Spoke to a brabantia customer relations officer about another product a while ago and learned he’d worked for the company for more than 20 years due to his great job satisfaction and pride in the brand. The bread bin is of course well-made attractive and sturdy but my chat with a company employee spoke volumes about the brand’s processes - manufacturing and business ethics.

Brabantia bread bin
Love this item. Looks lovely in my kitchen. Bigger than the average bread bin. Worth every penny

Happy 😊
The best thing about this is the storage capability on top of the bread bin. I've got all these fruit teas you see, and if I put them away in the cupboard, I'll not have them and just grab the coffee instead as that sits on the counter top. But now they are in my eye line I'm more inclined to choose these instead. Also there is plenty of room for vitamins etc. well anything you need handy and in plain sight really. So, the price is the price; this is the style I wanted; I wanted it now, and didn't want to search for something similar and cheaper, so I just went for it, I'm glad I did but it is overpriced. The metal, I would not say it is flimsy at all, it is as thick and sturdy as it needs to be. The feet aren't exactly grippy, I thought it might slide but it doesn't at all. My idea was a silicone mat underneath as I've already got one but I find it's really not needed after all. The look of it is minimal and clean, oh and yes there does seem to be plenty of room inside. As someone said you're not going to be blown away by the look of it when you get it out of the box, but the practicality of it, you can not argue with. I'm happy I've spent the money on it, I won't be buying another for a long time (I hope), so yes, happy!

Use your loaf
Spent ages looking for a BIG bread bin. Initially I did want a wooden one, but TBH the quality and size of them looked dreadful. Opted for this Brabantia one in Grey finish. At first glance I didn't think it was going to be as capacious as it actually is. It's the only Bread Bin I've found that can hold a full Warburton's Toastie Loaf, a small loaf AND a pack of burger buns with room to spare! Build quality if more than adequate, and the drop down door is much better than a rollover one. As an added bonus using the top of the bin as a shelf gives you back the counter space the bin itself takes up. Well worth the dough. However you slice it. :oD

good quality
Bought to replace same breadbin that i have had for YEARS. Good quality and lovely big size, can fit 1-2 loaves and still a bit of room. Slightly darker than the old one which i did not like so much and a bit expensive but know it will last.

Okay
It's nice and big, easy to clean but metal is a bit thin and the door alignment on mone isn't great which means it squeaks when you close it. I thought it was the hinge to start with so oiled it but it turned out to be catching on the frame.
