The media could not be loaded. I have been using Phomemo printers for some time and they deliver amazing product, cheap and with lots of functionality. Since I usually been using small label makers this one M220 is more of a industrial, business start up model where you can increase productivity as well use different variety of labels depending on your need as well functions. This label machine is exactly like others, thermal so need special paper but no ink. It can accept different versions of the labels, circular, square, rectangular, continues. Only what needs to be done is changing it on actual app of your phone, make sure you select right label size otherwise it won’t print right. If you not sure, simply take ruler and measure it.App on the phone offers lots and lots of template for you to choose, frames, pictures, barcodes; so you can just select what you like and adapt it for yourself, or you can start from scratch and design your own unique label. App is very intuitive and simple to use. You don’t need knowledge of designing, programming etc, it has been made for normal people.Printer itself comes with build in rechargeable battery, no AA/AAA batteries, simply plug in to power and charge, much more convenient. In the box you going to find 3 different size labels, to identify which one is it, just grab ruler and measure it and input it during configuration of the label on print smart app. This label machine makes everything much more easier and faster.

The media could not be loaded. I was really impressed by how easy this device is to use. I've got an older version of a thermal label printer that is not compatible with my phone and requires a laptop to print. Within 10 minutes of opening this product the app was downloaded(via QR code), printer found and connected via bluetooth and I was navigating the app. You can free type and create your own labels, use templates and computerised pictures, print postage labels and even pictures from your phone.It's fairly light weight and hand held, perfect for use on the go or tucking away in my office for when I need it. Rechargeable via USB-C and no need for ink. I feel its worth investing in a case and will be purchasing one. This is a handy, quick and easy to use thermal label printer. 5 stars and would definitely recommend.

Didnt use much, its broken now, shame cos I bought alot of stickers for this printer, now the printer is broken, thinking to buy new machine or to throw the paper away then buy different brand with paper, sad. Wasted of money.

It’s great when it works. The mobile app appears to work better than using the app on the Mac. Takes a while to get used to but when it’s working the labels look great 👍

MAIN REVIEWI had been looking for a small android mobile operated thermal printing, I have tested a different thermal label printer before and that was let down by the software and connection issues. This Phomemo M220 label printer come up for review and I have been very pleased with its performance.Initially I fully charged the label printer via the USB C port, this only took about 25 minutes as it was partially charge. Then I downloading and installing the Print Master app from the android play store, I then followed the instruction leaflet and connected within a few minutes. The printer is compatible with smartphone and PC, although I have not tested it with a PC.It can print on label widths of between 20 to 75mm, and there are plenty of print styles and formats. At the moments I’m using it for address labels. I really like not having to buy ink, the thermal printing is quick and very sharp from this printer. The printer come with 3 rolls of thermal paper of widths 40x30mm, 60x40mm and 70x80mm.Overall, this is an excellent portable thermal printer. At the moment there is a £26 discount voucher that can be applied, which for its performance and 3 roll of thermal paper makes it a good price.Alan

Very impressive! This is a really neat, quick and capable little thermal printer. The ability to use labels of different sizes easily is superb, just make sure that you have a tape measure handy if you change them around a lot.Print quality is excellent. The resolution and depth of the black colour is very good indeed. Things like QR codes really do pop and are extremely legible. The build quality of the unit is top-class. The plastic used is of great quality, and the overall design is really approachable. It might sound strange, but the curved design makes it feel more pleasant to use than something with angles and corners everywhere.The metal accents are a nice touch too, adding a touch of luxury to the overall look. I have this in the grey colour scheme and think it looks really professional on the desk.The display is also really useful, giving you charge level and status at a glance. The app is actually far better than I had expected too. I've used one of Phomemo's A4 printers in the past, and was expecting to use the same app - but this is not the case. This uses a similar, yet different app 'Print Master' to drive the printer. In this app you can specify which labels you have loaded (where the tape measure comes into play) and also add things like barcodes, QR codes, text and graphics etc.The app is stable and easy to use, coming with a few interesting ideas - like being able to scan the box of the labels you want to use, to tell the printer the size, etc.The labels themselves are fantastic quality. The backing adhesive is strong and very easy to apply. The overall experience is very positive indeed. One of my previous criticisms of Phomemo's A4 printer was the lack of included 'thermal paper' to get you going right at the start - and this printer comes with a generous number of labels, so top marks there - it really does make a difference, as it allows you to get into the swing of using the device before having to source more stock in order to continue.All in all, I'd find it hard not to recommend this printer system highly, as it appears to be able to do everything, and do it well!
