So much better than expected!
We’ve now owned this spa for 3 months. I waited to post a review until we had some time to really test it and put it to good use. We originally bought this spa as a test to see if we were cut out to be spa owners. The plan was so try out an affordable inflatable spa, get a feel for balancing chemicals, and then purchase a full sized jacuzzi later on if we felt we were up to the task of spa ownership. Well, this Coleman Saluspa has treated us so well that we have no plans on replacing it for a full sized jacuzzi. It’s FANTASTIC. We have used it pretty much every single day since we got it a little over 3 months ago. The spa itself was super easy to set up. It came with all the required parts and the instructions were very straightforward and easy to read. The bubbles are strong, it stays warm, and is well sized. We have fit 4 full grown adults in and all agreed we could have probably fit in a 5th friend if we were comfortable getting cozy. I’ve included a pic of my husband laying down in it from when we were initially setting it up (he’s 5’10) and a pic of him in it with a buddy for scale and size reference. This Saluspa is definitely one of the larger models that Coleman produces. As for durability, we’ve had zero leaks and find it to be extremely durable. We’ve sat on the sides to cool off when we get warm, and our cats regularly sit on the sides to hang with us when we are using the spa. They also like to hang out on the cover (I’ve included a pic). You’d think their claws would puncture it, but they have not. This spa is extremely durable… even to cat claws. We just did our first drain and clean yesterday (it’s recommended to drain a few times a year) and draining was super simple, although time consuming. You just attach a hose, pull a plug, and thats it! As for spa upkeep, I recommend doing some research on balancing chemicals. Reddit was a great resource when getting started. Some things you’ll need are as follows: sodium bromide packets to initially get started, bromine tablets, shock (chlorine initially activates bromine), PH Decreaser/Increaser, and Alkalinity Decreaser/Increaser. The last 2 will be dependent on the type of water you have. We have city water and have only ever needed PH Decreaser and Alkalinity Increaser. My in-laws are on well water and have only ever needed the opposite. You’ll also need a small chemical floater for the Bromine Tablets (the tablets are too large to fit in the basket on the Saluspa) and of course test strips, and a skimmer of some sort (we got a bug net from the dollar tree to skim debris out of the water and it has work very well). Some other things I’d recommend are putting down foam tiles underneath the spa for extra comfort, a scum boat to absorb body oils and reduce foam, and a spa light. We found a floating light and Bluetooth speaker here on Amazon, however Bestway (another producer of Saluspas has a website full of fun accessories you can purchase for your spa. Headrests, lights, fountains, etc). Happy floating! This purchase was one of the best things we’ve ever bought! So happy to have it!

Great starter tub to see if you really want to manage a hot tub
Bought as an experiment before potentially upgrading to a fiberglass tub in the future. Definitely worth trying this product out. Easy setup. Spend the extra money to get the thermal cover. Worth every penny to keep the heat in. You might not get the therapeutics of a full tub, but it feels so good when you get in and is so relaxing. Consider buying a water filter for your hose to get water chemical makeup closer at the start. I'm using the FrogEase chemical system and it appears to be working great to keep the water right.

DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM BESTWAY!
I did all of my research hesitant about purchasing an inflatable spa. I finally chose this one based off of reviews. We set it up in an enclosed carport, put foam padding and artificial turf under it, and were always super careful around it as we know it's not a hard style heavy duty hot tub. We enjoyed it over the winter from December into April. I opened the cover up to go use it one evening and HALF the water is gone! It somehow made it's way into the inflatable walls as there was NO water leaking around any fittings. I jumped through bestways hoops to create a warranty claim. Of course they wanted a lot of info before you could submit the claim. They then send you an email with info about what they needed to continue claim. Replying back to the email gets you no where. You have to log back into their website. They wanted me to perform a leak test on their product before continuing. Their product shouldnt have a leak within 4 months of use! I was furious. In order for me to do anytging with the spa, i had to figure out how to get ALL of the water out of the walls. Do they have an easy hose adaption to do this if it ever were to happen? NO. So now im pushing water out ALL OVER the dry carport with my foot. I take a video of how much water is gushing out of a port that shouldn't have water in it. At this point, most of my info was missing and I had to resubmit my pictures and my new video. It gets approved and I get an email confirming the approval stating that I was out of warranty but they would ship a new one out with the new one having no warranty. Fine. Whatever. I just want to use the spa I spent $$$ on. A month goes by with no update. Just says approved with no tracking yet. I call. The gentleman apologizes and says he doesn't know why it's taking so long. So he says he will expedite the process. Another 2 weeks go by. No update. Call again. Get the same run around. This time I get a call back from a manager who is trying to GO BACK ON THEIR APPROVAL. She is trying to get me to start over with a leak test and that she doesn't know who or why it got approved in the first place. Sorry. Not my problem. She calls me back and says they JUST got a shipment of them in and will be shipping one out soon. 3 weeks go by. It is now 5 MONTHS since the spa has been not usable sitting in my carport waiting for a replacement (of who knows what? A new liner? A new everything? Idk) I call AGAIN. same run around. Wants to check with warehouse and call me back in 30 mins. As of right now, I'm waiting for that call. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND I WILL NEVER BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN! I will update this review once (if at all) it gets resolved!

Wishing I’d gotten this years ago! Definitely worth it!
This is perfect for my side yard! I was thinking of getting a regular hot tub but decided to try this cheaper option to see if I would love it before spending the big money. I love this 5-7 person inflatable Coleman hot tub! It’s plenty big for my husband and myself to actually stretch out! I suffer with chronic pain in my back and my joints hurt from rheumatoid arthritis. The heat and jets do wonders for my pain and flexibility! A quick 20 minute soak before heading to the grandkids and I’m up for kayaking and hiking! Easy to set up and I’m amazed at how secure the sides are! Only issue I’ve had so far in the first week is that I got the refurbished one and the insulated cover has a few holes in it. We put the included patches on the 2 holes we were able to locate, but the patches don’t hold up well. We have had an issue with it stopping and showing an error code, but I’m hopeful that a new filter will clear up the problem!

Coleman hot tub
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this spa thought it would be great however it did not come with instructions unless you have internet. ONLY HOOKS UP TO 2.4 gh INTERNET. Called 3 times to try to get instructions for manual instructions. I finally got an American who sent me a video. once I got a video easy to set up. The air valve to attach does not line up perfectly so you loose alot of air while blowing up. They do not list beginner chemicals to set up the spa. Once set up it is enjoyable but beware no written instructions included in box come with it. Very aggrevating. I have mine set up on a patio. Functionality is great water flow is good, Fit is good except for the air blower, Value for the money I suppose is fair although I can say it it went up $100 in a week since I I purchased. I have not cleaned it yet so not sure how easy to clean as of yet

A GREAT Addition for the Patio!
We have a "real" hot tub (Master Spa Legend) at our home, but really wanted something up at our Northern Cabin for those chilly nights that you just want to soak under the starry sky at night. I found this on Amazon, and bought it based on the reviews. I had no idea what to expect when the box arrived, to be honest. It was VERY easy to set up - the water pump thingy/heater also airs up the hot tub and cover. NICE. It did take a solid 24 hours to heat the water up (this is 120v 12amps max) but once it gets there it maintains nicely. The bubbles are nice, and the floor of the hot tub is slightly padded so its comfy to sit down in. I gotta say, I am TOTALLY impressed with this thing. A few tips: 1.) They do not give you any starter chemical in the box. You are going to need some bromine or chlorine, like definitely before you use it or definitely after the very first time. I went with Chlorine granules, because that is what we use with our other hot tub. You ONLY need a tablespoon! This tub is only 300 gallons or so and 1 tablespoon of chlorine granules will go a long way. 2.) Make sure to get a test kit ($10) or test strips, and get pH Decreaser & pH Increaser. If you have ever, or currently have a pool or spa, you will need either one of those eventually, if not right away. 3.) Test the water regularly! Like before every use, or in between. 4.) You can schedule the filter/heater to run at certain times, etc, I have not figured that feature out yet. But the wi-fi connect to my phone and the app is pretty reliable, and bug-free. 5.) I went on amazon and searched "inflatable hot tub accessories" and found a bunch of cool stuff to "accessorize" our new inflatable tub. Again, I strongly suggest you get some starter chemicals , test strips and some fun accessories at the same time if you are buying this. Cleaning out skunky hot tubs is NOT fun, so you want to prevent that from happening as much as possible. OH, GET EXTRA FILTER CARTRIDGES!!!! After 2 uses of the tub, ours had lotsa dead bugs, hair, and body oils/lotions in it pretty good already. You can clean them out a few times (Use a good degreaser like simple green or get spa cartridge cleaner on amazon) but eventually you are going to need a new one. I got 12 filter cartridges on here for under $30! tl;dr - this is a pretty good starter tub that you will like.

Embracing Man-Made Nature: My Healing Journey Through Yoga and Pilates in My Homemade Hot Spring The journey to healing is a deeply personal and transformative experience, one that is never linear, but full of discovery, growth, and self-compassion. For me, it has been a winding path of reconnecting with both my inner self and the natural world around me. It's a journey that has led me to a unique practice, one that brings together my interest in fitness, and the therapeutic powers of nature, all within the comforting embrace of my very own homemade hot spring. Every morning, I step into the serene warmth of my hot spring, a man-made haven I’ve carefully crafted as a space for healing, reflection, and deep connection with my body. As the steam rises, I am reminded of the transformative power of water—how it can soothe, cleanse, and renew. The heat gently relaxes my muscles, allowing me to slip deeper into each stretch and breath as I flow through my yoga poses and Pilates movements. What I love most about this practice is the intuitive nature of it. There are no rigid schedules, no perfect routines to follow. Instead, I allow my body and mind to guide me, listening to what I need in the moment. Some days, my body craves deep stretches, flowing into poses like downward dog or child’s pose, letting the warmth of the water support me. On other days, it asks for something more active—a Pilates workout that engages my core and strengthens my muscles, all while the water’s buoyancy offers support and relief. This intuitive approach to my workouts has been a form of healing in itself. It has taught me the importance of listening to my body, of tuning out the noise of the world around me, and of being present in the moment. The hot spring, with its soft bubbles and gentle warmth, is the perfect environment to foster this kind of connection. It encourages me to slow down, to be mindful of each movement, and to let go of any tension or expectation. But the healing goes beyond just the physical. There is a spiritual aspect to my practice that is nurtured in the quiet solitude of the morning. The steam that rises from the water feels almost magical, as though it is carrying away any lingering negativity, leaving me with a sense of calm and clarity. I feel connected not only to my body but to something greater—the energy of the earth, the cycles of nature, and the wisdom of the universe. This is why I call it "man-made nature." While the hot spring is a creation of my own design, it mirrors the natural processes of rejuvenation, renewal, and balance found in the world around us. As I move through my yoga and Pilates practice each day, I am reminded of the importance of self-care and self-love. This healing space I’ve cultivated isn’t just about physical wellness; it’s about emotional and mental well-being, too. It’s about embracing who I am, acknowledging my growth, and honoring my healing process. The gentle flow of the water, the warmth that envelops me, and the rhythms of my breath all contribute to a profound sense of peace, helping me release any lingering stress or negative energy from the day before. In the quiet of the morning, with the soft sounds of water and breath, I am reminded of the importance of slowing down and allowing space for healing. We often rush through life, caught up in the demands of the world, but this practice has taught me the power of pausing—of taking a moment to be still, to connect, and to renew. And as I continue on my journey, I carry this lesson with me, trusting in the process of healing, and embracing the beauty of both man-made and natural wonders alike. For anyone on their own healing journey, I encourage you to find a space—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—where you can slow down and listen to your body. It doesn’t have to be a hot spring or a specific workout routine. What matters is finding a place of peace and connection that nurtures your soul. For me, that place is my homemade hot spring, and every morning, it becomes a sanctuary where I can heal, reflect, and grow. Healing is not a destination but a lifelong journey, and with each breath, each movement, and each moment of connection, I continue to embrace the process with love and gratitude.

Loved it, but quit working after less than 3 months!!!!
This hot tub was AWESOME!!!! It was super easy to set up took about 10 min to blow up, I used my garden hose to fill it up, that took about an hour and it took another 12 hours to get up to temperature. It was amazing and the sides were so stable you could sit on the side and just have your feet in. The bubbles/jets were perfect. We had 4 adults in it as once and had plenty of room for at least 1 more adults, 2 could have fit in there if you were comfortable being close to everyone. I used it everyday! Less than 3 months go by and it quit heating over 82 degrees. I had to go out of town so I unplugged it while I was gone, when I came back I plugged it back in and still won’t heat over 82 degrees. I contacted customer support and they did get back to me super fast, within hours but they basically sent me some trouble shooting options. I did all of them and still nothing over 82 degrees, I messaged them back and they said it was past the 30 day warranty and they couldn’t help! I love this hot tub but WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN!!!!! BUY FROM ANOTHER SELLER!!!!! I was also concerned about how much extra my electric bill would be. If you’re worried about that, don’t be! My electric bill went up maybe $30-$50 a month and I had the hot tub kept at 104 degrees all the time. It has a power save mode but I never had the time to figure it out, so maybe it would be less if I took the time to figure it out!
