Excellent quality, but a tad on the small side for a double cap
Updated: I am just a novice with a few years of practice at home. I have been using these daily for a year, and they are all in perfect condition, no chipping, without any special handling or care (daily dishwasher use, etc.). The cups and saucers are quite thick, and the contours are very friendly to hold and drink from. I originally deducted 1 star because I thought they were a bit small for a double cappuccino, but now I think that should be mentioned as a detail, not a deduction. With a double-shot (~2 oz espresso) this does make for a pretty concentrated cappuccino. But, after using this cup for a year, and then trying the next larger size of this cup (the Small Latte), I realize I tend to prefer the smaller size, and consuming a smaller beverage with not so much milk. Also, while I initially found the smaller cup size challenging to pour designs, I have gotten accustomed to it with practice. I settled on using a 12-ounce pitcher for frothing milk for this cup, which is more than ample.
