Helpful if you don't have a model
This makes designing a fitted pattern for myself so much easier because I can see how it looks on an actual 3D torso! It was also adjustable to my height so I can better visualize dress lengths. It is a bit hard to pin onto sometimes, and it is easy to tip over if you have a top heavy project in development and you don't get some weight evenly distributed on the bottom stand. There are a few things I want to do to improve the overall functionality, but even as it is it gets the job done well enough.

Flimsy but functional
It is flimsy cheap plastic? Yes. Is it light as a feather? Yes. Is the padding cheap? Very. Does it do the job? Yes. This is the only dress form offered in so many sizes. It serves its purpose. If you treat it gingerly, it will work fine for a while. If you have a 3d printer, you can print more stable replacements if something breaks or rips. I could see this plastic bending and deforming more than breaking. It gets 4 stars because you won't find anything else at this price that does what it does. Minus the star for extremely cheap quality. I would have paid an extra $50 to have more sturdy, lasting materials. I wouldn't pay more than that though. I am happy I bought it and I won't be returning it but I will be looking to outmode it and install upgrades in the future. There are no issues with the product itself. It works fine.
