Great piece of kit
Had this antenna for a while now and need to say that it is working fine. It is quite big and you need some space for it but it is worth every penny. I use it along my sdrplay. Wide band. Can easily listen to HF bands, FM VHF and UHF.

Some issues
Performance :HF it's as deaf as a post. Totally deaf. Even on a short run of very low loss high end coax cable. LMR400. With an ultra low noise amplifier it just about picks up the strongest stations at about 17MHz and higher. Dominated by QRM below and just deaf.VUHF without amplification it's a very weak performer. With amp it's not too bad. Workable.Probably should have spent an extra couple of hundred quid on a diamond discone.Manufacturing quality is not great and caused a lot of unnecessary faff:The design and build quality being the main challenge.Several of the elements failed to screw in. Poorly cut threads in some of the female recepticals. Had to recut two threads and another had a piece of swarf in it. One case of poor thread on a male radial.Supplied brackets, one snapped in two. Could be because it wasn't compatible with the same diameter of pole supplied for the mast. Could have been my fault but it wasnt overly tight TBH.The supporting pole section is held on by friction from a single tiny grub screw. I'm not sure this is going to stay together. Likely I'll need to find a solution before it becomes a problem. No grub screws to hold the radials in so they're going to vibrate their way out in the wind. I used some thread lock on outermost threads in anticipation of this being a problem.Overall, you get what you pay for. This didn't break the bank so I think the quality and performance reflects the price. It'll do for my use cases.

Good for receiving.
Very good antenna for receiving but where i am in Scotland they don't last long as wind vibrates them and the rods either unscrew or break at the threads. Have mended one about 7 times before i binned it. This will be my 3rd antenna, but bought first 2 direct from moonraker. I think they taking the P with the £30 delivery charge though and that took 6 days.
