The motor noise is louder than the actual raindrops, so you need to tune that noise out to enjoy it.The light doesn't vary in brightness, so if you want it on at night its either bright or off.The holes for the raindrops get clogged/ stop dripping easily and for it to be fully functional, you must clear them.You are provided with "iron" wire to clear each hole, which is a tedious task within itself made moreso by the fact the "iron" wire is more maleable than plastic.You need to clean the water out every day or second day, especially if you are using the oils as the water gets murky and smelly.The top of the mushroom, which comes off so you can clear the drip holes, comes off with the slightest bump which is infuriating.There is no plug, only USB-C to USB cableSometimes the drips sync, and it just becomes one big drip which is maddening to say the least.The device itself is visually appealing, and the frosted effect on the plastic makes the mushroom glow nicely.If you get the wood version it's obviously plastic wood effect, but it's still quite nice.You are provided with a few oils which is decent.

Absolutely heartbroken my grandson has been asking for one for a long time so I thought I would surprise him for Christmas and when he opened to set it up it was broken and it can not be changed because it’s out of the date to go back it’s so unfair should be longer time at Christmas time to be returned

The product itself is of good quality and looks nice. However, it’s marketed as rain could and a key feature is being able to hear the sound of rain. The motor for the humidifier is louder than the sound of the water falling so it that sense it’s a dull feature
