My granddaughter has really long hair and is always getting nits from school just what I needed

Isnt the original nitty gritty as advertised as it doesn't have the grooves on the prongs so false advertising but saying that is effective :)

Really annoyed that this is not grooved like it claims. It's ok as a nit comb but nowhere near as good as a nitty gritty. I cannot be bothered to return it but really wish I had the energy. And now the nits will take over the world and probably ear my children's heads. I hope you can live with yourselves.

This is designed to look like the genuine nitty gritty hair comb but beware it is not. At this price you wouldn't expect it to be! It is not as wide and the prongs don't have the spiral markings that help get out eggs as well as the nits. Its like a normal nit comb which probably works ok but don't expect it to be nearly as good as the genuine thing. You are better off spending the extra for a nitty gritty hair comb which will do the job far better than anything else including lotions.

Very gentle and my kids don’t mind having their hair combed with this

Not as good as my Nitty Gritty comb as the teeth were not straight or as close together.
