Spinning Joystick Head but customisable internals
Power Stick by Retro Bit is meant to play it on any Nintendo Entertainment system that has a standard 7 pin controller input. Now personally I never thought I would get into joystick for the NES games, but with some of the great ports such as Galaga, Xevious and plenty more for the platform, I took a bite. And my impression overall is mixed bag but mostly on the positive side. Right of from the bet it’s styled after NES advantage (which personally that I don’t get into as an NES controller), but I tell from the start that the turbo function which is a less advantage (see what I did there lol). But like I said it does have a positive points. The joystick itself is an 8 directional micro switches buttons which in comparison to original NES advantage it’s clicky, satisfying, and most importantly it’s responsive and lasts Long compare to the cheap contacts that most home computer joysticks from the 80s. Same goes for the buttons which is more clicky, but I found that I need to use more force on the button often times. The only downside for this controller is that the top handle part of the joystick keeps on getting lose (yes it is separable btw) and even if I get it tight, it still doesn’t feel right. Fortunately one of the interesting part of this controller is that it’s supposedly customisable. I love how the controller is customisable so in case the parts are broken or if you wanna change the replacement buttons, then it’s easy to take it apart and do so. Overall this is a decent controller that I would preferably use for the shoot em ups and surprisingly I found racing games to work pretty well on these Controllers as well. But with any game genres on the NES platform, I found this joystick to be pretty neat and responsive. If only minor parts like joystick head could have been fixed, this is quite a solid third party option controller.

Just read this and hit buy now with 1 click.
I have no idea why ANYONE would give this anything else but a 5 star rating. Micro-switch on the level of actual Arcade sticks and an iconic design. Can be adapted to the Wiimote / NES SNES Classics, ANY NES system or Clone, and computer with the right adapters from Hyperkin or Tomee.I have a bunch of these! Just ignore every other person here and trust me, come talk to me on twitter (same name / @ArcadeRen) and I will be more than happy to talk to you about it.This is Retro-Bits finest product and I am very thankful it is here.Twin Stick Robotron Atari 7800 adapter through NES to to Wiimote adapters and EPIC ARCADE AWESOMENESS. Yeah I'll talk to you about that too. BEST ARCADE STICK MADE for NES outside of the original Advantage joystick. Seriously it upsets me to see ANY negative review of the finest joystick made in this modern day for the NES.No idea how this wasn't a come to mecca moment for these other people...Someone needed to set the record straight, you're welcomeCheers.P.S. Exceptional for upgrading to Arcade Sanwa parts as well!!!!!

Get Turbo with this if you plug it into an NES Four Score
This Works well as an Arcade stick. It is not a perfect fit in an original NES port but a little extra push in and it works fine. It does not have turbo buttons like the original NES Advantage but if you have an NES Four Score you can use the Turbo on that. Very responsive buttons and stick.

NES CONTROLLER
Very comfortable to handle and play with. Works perfectly with the retro duo console and I like using it to play Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge for the NES, and my other Nintendo games.

Great for NES and SNES (with adapter)
I bought two of these and modified them with a. Sanwa controller and buttons. Makes for a nice joystick, but you do need to open up the button holes a small amount to fit the sanwa buttons if your choose to modify.

I love the directional joystick.
The thing out performs the NES Advantage marginally, but it needs upgrades as the cheapness of the stock butttons and joystick creep through after 2 days use and start to be sticky with responsive issues like a cheap mechanical keyboard.
