I first bought these for my fish on the recommendation of a friend who used to work in an aquarium shop. I have a pond with several large goldfish (5 in - 8 in long). The fish love them and will swim to the surface and gather around me when they think they're going to be fed. They also have good, bright color. My fish are not koi, but these are recommended for all pond fish.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I use this in my gold fish pond and they absolutely love it. I never have to remove any uneaten pieces.

The bigger fish enjoy eating this food, but some of the smaller comet goldfish have a difficult time eating it. I would estimate that any fish over 4 inches can eat this food without problem. The floating food is a must have for pond owners as it prevents uneaten food from sinking to the bottom and decomposing.

My Bala sharks love this food!! Helps me keep my tank clean whatever they don’t eat I skim off the top.

I love the size of these pellets for my goldfish and Koi. They can feed a variety of sizes of fish because of their small size, and they ship quickly!

To be honest I haven't used it yet but I have spoken to Koi breeders who highly recommend it!
