Me and My Pets Car Seat Cushion Bed - Black

I bought this car cushion/ seat for my little puppy (Border Terrier) to go in my car. I wanted to keep them secure whilst driving around as they're not too keen on going in a crate. I bought a car harness from a local pet store and both work great together. At first I was concerned the elastic loops on the underside would stretch and not hold the cushion in place well enough but it appears to be fine. I think this bed will still be a good size when my pup is full grown, so even if it does get chewed, it's cheap enough to buy another!! I was also concerned about the clip in the cushion which clips to the harness, but it appears to be ok so far. This is one part I'll monitor going forward - hence the 4* rating at the moment, as it could be stronger, and the elastic loops could be made of sturdier material.

Great bed. My Cocker Spaniel prefers it to his own bed! Bought for my Miniature Dachshund and tried it out indoors but now they are sharing! Will need another one for the car as I don’t want to spoil a good relationship !

I initially bought a car seat carrier, it was useless so don't bother. My puppy was able to get out of it from day one. And even though he was strapped to it via his harness, the strap was too long and the sides of the carrier too flimsy, so he was able to climb over.In desperation I bought this cushion bed and it's brilliant. Used it for the first time today and whoever says in other reviews it won't attach to the seatbelt they obviously haven't done it properly. All seat belts are the same in cars, and it doesn't take much common sense to work out how to attached the cushion and keep it in place. The clip that attaches to his harness is nice and short, so it kept my puppy on the cushion and not off it. I took my puppy to the vets and home again today, he was relaxed on the cushion and fell asleep. The cushion comes out for cleaning and the main base can be wiped clean. Would defo recommend this item........

Not sure how to attach seat using the seatbelt in the loops on the back of the cushion. If i secure the cushion in that way I cannot then plug the dog clip into the seat belt hole. I'd rather secure the dog than the cushion

I purchased 2 of these for my Westies. Whist they are comfortable for them, they were difficult to put the seat belt .clip. through the eleastic inserts. I was concerned I might pull the elastic away from the seat. coverThe Hooks to fit onto the dogs harness are too fragile, both broke the first time I used,the seats,When I stopped and opened the back door of the car both dogs were free in the rear footwells, not good as they could have escaped on opening the car door.. I have overcome this problem by using my own seatbelt to harness leads.For the time being I have left the Car Seat Cushions connected as I am not convinced the Elastic will hold for too many insertions and removals of the seatbelt buckle. through the elastic. This, of Course, now means I can't have rear seat passangers whist the dogs cushions are in placeAll in all not very happy with purchase

I have a 5 months old springador. I have had this dog bed for 1 month. She loves it so much that I now have 1 in the car and 1 at home. In the car, she happily sits/lies on it. I use an additional leach to attach her to the Isofix hook. I keep the bed in place using the seatbelt through the hoops (those are made in elastic material and don't look very strong).At home she curls up in it during the day and has great fun taking the cushion out of the basket and bring both everywhere. She has been chewing both the cushion and the basket : nothing has been damaged yet.

The good news is my dog loves this and when I bring it into the house he chooses to sit in it over another bed. However I can't get my seatbelt through the loops. They aren't big enough and in any case the belt isn't a lap belt, which might work. Also within seconds my dog had chewed through the strap to attach to his collar.We have continued to use it anyway, with a harness for safety, but this makes it no different to just putting a bed in the car.My pup suffers from car sickness, and after a bad case of it I was able to take the covers off easily and wash them.

Just bought two for our fur babies and they love them. Had to drag them off to put them in the car. They fit really well and are secured on the car seat with loops at the back. They are fastened in by an harness clip attached in the bed. I feel my babies will be nice and safe. Its made of strong water proof material and hopefully not good to chew. The soft fluffy removable cushion is an added bonus. I think these are an excellent car bed.
