It might not create a lot of foam like normal loofah, but it makes skin super smooth, removes all dead skin cells, and gives amazing peeling effect

I have very dry, sensitive skin. I break out really easily and it's very painful, as well as having eczema. So as you might imagine, I go to to great pains (often literally) to find products that work for me and will cling to the ones I find. I have been on a veritable Lord of the Rings level skincare journey the past few years, truly a perilous slog through crappy products to find the One Bath Product to rule them all. I've gone through roughly 20 different styles of loofah or scrubbers, including bristled brushes, sponges, and mitts. This one is hands down the best. Body wash doesn't slide off it (although some of the thicker ones kinda sink into it so be on the lookout for that), it works up a nice lather, the exfoliation is gentle enough for daily use but still leaves me feeling noticeably smoother and cleaner, dries quickly, comes in a fairly large size with a strap that doesnt slide off my hand or the hook I have for it, doesn't hold onto smells, and they're very reasonably priced. This gets a 5 for me because I truly believe that this is as close to perfect as it gets in bath scrubber technology, however I do want to issue a couple of warnings. Make sure you change these out fairly regularly. I try to do it every couple months. I haven't done it but I believe these might last a bit longer if you run them through the wash in a garment bag on gentle, but I haven't tested it yet so proceed with caution. You want to change them out because they become less effective exfoliators and I notice I break out more so I'm assuming that's just icky build up. Make sure you let these soak before using. I've had some that fully expand in 5 minutes and some that never quite do, the difference being whether they had soaked before using. I believe that was in the instructions as well, but tbh not many people are going to read the instructions on something they think they have a pretty good handle on lol. Lastly, they hold on to body wash really well. I've never had any slide off. That said, if it's a very thick wash or has particulate like grains of sugar or salt, it holds on to it so well you might have trouble getting it out. So make sure to rinse very thoroughly, especially if you don't like the smell. The loofah itself never gets smelly but it holds on to that wash and if you leave any in there, that smell will last until it's completely rinsed out. I have not tried this with bar soap so YMMV. Overall, excellent product, probably never gonna use anything else ever again.

I love this loofah! I’ve bought several loofahs over the years and this is definitely my favorite. It’s not too soft and not too rough so it cleans really well. It also has a little handle which makes it easy to hold. The size and texture is also prefect for traveling as it dries quick. Highly recommend :)

What to say? They do as they should well.

These are medium rough. They’re great for doing what they were designed to do.

Was getting these as a substitute for a plastic loofah poof and this is way too scratchy and rough. The handle also fell off one the first day they do not feel well made.
