Digestive Enzymes Ultra - Broad Spectrum Vegetarian Digestive Enzymes - Supports Digestion & Nutrient Absorption - 30 Capsules

I tried much for a bad stint with my tum after antibiotics and other meds very recently and went back to these I’d had years ago and was tested for (exact brand) with kinesiology(!!!) and I forgot about these that I then re-ordered. Wow they’re good! Someone wrote 2 at each meal.. I take only one at each meal until I’m back on track.

I recently tried Pure Encapsulations - Digestive Enzymes Ultra and I must say, it has greatly improved my digestion. The blend of enzymes is powerful and effective in breaking down food, reducing bloating and discomfort. I have noticed a significant decrease in digestive issues since I started taking these supplements. However, the only downside is the price. They are quite expensive compared to other digestive enzyme products on the market. Despite that, I am happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone looking for relief from digestive issues.

As a lifelong vegetarian with a potential casein allergy/sensitivity I use digestive enzymes in the hope that I can eat dairy (Cheese!) without doing too much damage to myself. I have no proof that this is the case. I love cheese. Cheese is the food of the gods and as a lifelong veggie with an inherited 'dairy intolerance - possibly casein', I have struggled all my life with the adverse effects of eating cheese - good cheese like roquefort, stilton and a spot of stinking bishop. it's hell. I've tried giving up cheese but it's impossible to get through winter without a fondue or five! I suspect this dairy addiction has not done me any good over the years and while the rest of my family avoid dairy, I embraced it fully and have suffered for many years until a biologist once told me that I should try taking digestive enzymes to help combat the horrible side effects I get after eating cheese - a way to help my body digest it before it punishes me for eating cheese! It works - kind of - obviously I should cut milk out completely but that's too hard and so this is my compromise (probably not a great idea but it's my body and cheese is amazing!). Over the years I assumed all digestive enzyme supplements were equal but as I get older and a bit wiser (not wise enough to cut out dairy!) I am turning to more trusted brands and formulations. Pure encapsulations are at the top end of supplementation with the most bioavailable ingredients and formulations. They're not as cheap as others but you ned up spending more on ones that don't work as well. Do these work - for me, yes. I don't know about you but if you're looking for digestive enzymes then you can't go wrong with Pure Encapsulations for this price. If I could afford it, I'd probably only buy their supplements.

I use these for tummy bloating 3 a day. They definetly work for me..I think they are expensive. May find a substitute eventually. Hence why I gave them 4 stars.

Did what it said it would no more bloating

It gave me such severe stomach pains that I had to stay in bed. It makes me gassy, ​​which is a bit strange. I tried it for several days to see if it was because of the enzymes or not. And indeed it is. I will try it again some day and if my stomach still hurts I will throw them away! And they are not cheap!

Too early to say if they work or not, but I won't buy them again as they're too expensive. Taking 2 with each meal = 15 days of supply. Massive annual cost. Looking £900 a year.
