I bought this as an upgrade while resurfacing my pool.This is a very nice light, which at first we were not able to install from the directions or parts in the package. But upon reviewing it, and returning it, the manufacturer contacted me and sent a new one (no cost) with updated instructions and daily follow up. I called the pool company back and they were able to install it this time.I am impressed with the customer service. every step of the way they have worked to make it better, and will incorporate a couple more helpful directions and pictures in the instructions.We need more companies with this service attitude.

It has rusted overtime and the light came off of the metal part. Getting the wiring and lighting replaced will cost me $1K+ again and I'm not happy about this.

easy to install with hayward niche. very bright and value for the money. cam change color from cellphone with the app. also, you can sync it with music. extremely happy with this product that i order 1 more. i highly recommend it.

A great replacement for the original pool light. Maybe even better since this one will change colors and I can control it from my phone. It was easy to install and fit well.

This is a more solid light than I expected. I've got several old Pentair housings and I've had success swapping out lower wattage LED bulbs for a couple years. But when one of the housings failed, I needed a complete replacement. I expected this to feel like one of the LED bulbs in a metal housing, but it is a solidly built, LED board in a metal frame. I'm giving it 4 stars because the full installation is awkward and doesn't fit how I expect most people have their lights installed. Most (all?) of pool lights are direct wired to a box so now you've got to pigtail the transformer and RGB driver in at the end. It comes with a 3-prong plug -- who uses that? Its got to be cut off and wired in which creates a good bit of extra work that feels like could have been avoided. Because the RGB driver is also separate, it means that, even if you have a 12v system, you can't just drop this in without the extra work. On the upside: I expect the RGB connection to be substantially stronger as the box is located close to the house instead of inside the pool niche (as with the Wifi replacement LED bulbs I was using).

I was excited to add this light to our pool, however we were not able to install it because it does not have the standard mounting.

I love lights of all types, and particularly anything that allows me to adjust and configure the color just how I want it. I've gone a little crazy on swimming pool lighting but what's the use of having one if you can't have all the lights you want? I wasn't familiar with this brand previously, but it's a very good quality light at a very reasonable price. It has a 50 foot cord, the waterproofing works great. It comes with a remote control and also offers an app. You can even control it with your favorite digital assistant. It offers 20 different RGB options and lighting effects so you'll never get bored. You can even sync it with the music! Highly recommended!
