Weider Bungee Bench Total Body Workout System

First, let me add this before I get to the review. I'm horribly out of shape and while I enjoyed the weight machines when I did go to the gym, I hate actually going to the gym (especially if I tried to go after work), so I saw this and thought it might work for me. I was looking at a home weight machine when I ran across this and it fit my needs better (it would go upstairs and I rent).This may not look like much coming out of the box, but it will give you some good resistance. I'm only using the black band right now so I have quite a bit of growing room, so to speak.If you're already in excellent shape and looking to build muscles, this is probably not the machine for you, but if you're like me, wanting to tone and get into shape, this is an excellent way to start without breaking the bank (IMHO).It's also great that it folds up for storage when not in use.One other thing. It feels very sturdy. The frame is steel so it feels like it would hold up over time.

This is not a machine for bulking up; it’s a machine for staying lean and toned.

I had been looking for something portable and easy to use. I don’t have a lot of strength due to MS, and wanted something to do a little muscle building. This is PERFECT!! I love it. It’s easy to use and portable. The only complaint I have is that I wish the workout came in digital form. It comes in DVD form and I don’t have a DVD player.

I loved this bench then the plastic wheels that the bungi cords ride in broke.I am 72 years old and I was not over using the bench light use.I called the representative and they told me no parts were available.I am debating weather to order another because I had much more flexability when I used it.

This machine is awesome . I just trained today. Excellent product.

Let me start by saying I purchased the Bungee Bench at my local Walmart about two weeks ago. The purpose is to be able to maintain workout while we are at our camper on weekends but for this immediate case we had gone camping and I didn't want to miss 5 days of workouts. I thought about a bench and dumbbells then I saw this.I am impressed with the portable design and ease of use and you technically can do great maintenance with this, for someone like me I am not going to gain anything from using this machine but it's going to allow me to maintain without missing a beat on the weekends. I think this is a great product for anyone.The only thing I don't care for is the fact that you add any additional bands (or maybe you can and I haven't found them yet) as it sits I use both bands and then use all 4 of them to do arm curls when I really want to feel it. This is not a replacement for going to the gym at all nor do I feel it's meant to be, I honestly believe it was designed for maintaining. The fact that it's so portable is great it fits right in the compartment of our camper . Love the product.PS: I will bring out dumbbells to help supplement some of the weight resistance.
