I got this as a Christmas gift for myself (a 24yr old adult) and it was fun to build and has the added bonus of becoming a cat toy after.It looks fairly cool ( not a big fan of the Rokr logo all over it though ) and its fairly sturdy and easy to fire. Loading rubber bands is a tedious process tho, but you can either rapid fire or individual fire rubber bands as you wish. I would not recommend for kids due to having them possibly shoot someone's eye out lolBut for a cool shelf decoration or cat toy, its a cool little project.

Pretty easy to build looks great functions exactly like shown. Just make sure you follow step-by-step on the building instructions. I had to spend another 15 minutes rebuilding it because I put something in backwards.

Despite the low parts count, just north of 300, I found this to be a tough build. You have to be very careful installing the small springs, fortunately extras are supplied. Some of the tighter fits benefit from a good sanding and an application of the supplied wax. It's a must to check the movement of the escapement before closing everything up. If all operates smoothly, you'll be good to finish it off. Watch out for some of the cosmetic finishing parts as some are very brittle. When finally assembled and you experience how it functions, you'll find a satisfying smile on your face,

Bought these as a gift for my older children 13-20 years old.VERY WELL built and designed. Each piece is well cut and easy to remove from their wooden stack in order to build.The directions overall were very good and understandable, though there are a few parts where the understanding is muddled, even for myself as a production and engineering technician manager.Solid build and lots of fun once built, but takes patience. This is a multi hour build.Would suggest to not be realistic and spend a few nights putting it together.Overall would definitely buy again and highly recommend it for its build quality components and "cool" factor when done.

This was a very fun item to build, and after fully constructing it, the gun works, but there is a couple small caveats that I did not like or that made the build difficult.1) While there are some spare pieces that come with the set, many of the pieces do not have spare pieces, and it just so happens the 2 or 3 tiny pieces I had that did end up breaking, did not have spare parts. Thankfully these were more cosmetic parts, and I was able to put a bit of gorilla glue on them, and the next day they were decently strong with the glue, so it did not stop me from completing the build, but it is still a little frustrating when you want to keep building but a broken part forces you to wait 24 hours for glue to set the broken piece in properly.2) Some of the instructions were not 100% clear and I had to reference a build video about 3 or 4 times to make sure I was putting a piece or a part in correctly.Outside of those minor issues that caused me to knock off 1 star, overall the item is very good and I would recommend purchasing as long as you have the patience to build it and are very careful with your building so as not to break tiny parts, and maybe are willing to use a little glue if needed.

This is the best 3D puzzle imaginable!!Pieces are cut nicely, directions are clear and pieces smoothly connect together to create this nifty little wood gun.I was very impressed at how sold the construction was once finished and even more excited after realizing the gun actually fires as a multiloaded rubber and gun. So so cool. If your into stem style puzzles and project I highly suggest trying these out. I wish there was more guns to build but all of their project a look interesting and after using two kits with great satisfaction I know anything else purchased would be well worth the purchase.My son received two of these for Christmas and he absolutely loved both.. He is a gun enthusiast and has been since he was a small child so his understanding from make and history is quite extensive for a teenager. He is also very keen on STEM style puzzles and crafts. When he opened this (Tommy Gun) Christmas eve it was all over… He immediately opened the box and began to put together. This one I'm reviewing was the second purchased after seeing his excitement from the first.. Both did not disappoint!!

I bought this for my husband, it took him a couple days to put it together but to say it was a hit would be an understatement! He had a blast and the thing works great! Its fun to play with!

Wow! This is not my first foray into the world of ROKR, but it is probably one of my favorite sets. Everything here is super intricate with a lot of small fragile pieces, including small springs and bendable wooden parts. Like most ROKR sets there are plenty of extra pieces in case you crack a few while trying to release them from the molds, but none of my parts broke during assembly. It is a beautiful set, but if I had to pick one negative feature, it would be the strength of the bands as they come off. It seems really weak, so don’t expect to win any rubber band gun fights, but the firing strength is enough to knock over the soldier targets that are included. The set is rated 4 out of 5 for difficulty and for ages 14+ and I strongly agree with that. It took about 4-5 hours of leisurely building to complete.
