Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I used to use a blender to make juice for my kids because they did not like to eat fruits and vegetables. They complained that the juices were coarse and did not taste good. I researched several juicers and decided to give this slow juicer a try because of its price and its design. I have made several fruits and vegetable juices and found that the juices made by this slow juicer have a smooth texture that my kids like. The juicer is thin and tall and does not occupy much kitchen counter space. It is stable while running and the width of tube is wide enough for big strawberries carrots, and sliced apples. I would have liked a removeable cover, so that oranges would also fit without having to cut them.

This jucier advertizes that you can put whole pieces of veggies like carrot and celery in the chute.but the manual says otherwise.(manual was written very choppy and hard to understand, like translated by computer) While carrots did OK but whole celery was a real problem getting stuck in the pulp shoot. So while you can do it you may clog up the machine quickly. There are a number of pieces to clean that are tricky. (although they do provide a useful brush with the opposite end has a small flat scraperlike end) lt was very quiet. But be prepared to chop veggies.

I bought this juicer because it got decent reviews, was fairly priced and stood vertically with a large shute. The first time I used it it worked fine. it didn’t yield as much juice as I thought it would but the pulp was dry so I was satisfied. Well the next morning I went to use it and it just didn’t turn on! not only that but when I left the button on trying to get it to work it started smoking and emitting a chemical smell. NO GOOD. I immediately washed it out, packed it up and sent it back for a refund. Very disappointed. I ended up buying a $315 Omega instead.

This is a study, well built juicer. I bought it to do celery juice, but ended up returning it because where the pulp exits continued to get plugged up regardless of what I tried to do, like cutting the celery in 1" pieces, to make it not plug up. The last time I used it, I had to stop, disassemble it, clear the exit of pulp, reassemble and try again 3 TIMES to process one bunch of celery to produce 8-10 oz of juice.

I have one but I bought this one for my mother-in-law to masticate her organic carrots as part of her cancer treatment. Gerson’s protocol it is.

First time juicer. Wish I would have started earlier. This juicer is fantastic. Quiet, strong (chops giant carrots with ease) and easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. The only thing I’d recommend is getting rid of the “flip top” at the top of the chute... doesn’t really do anything except fetnin the way. Go back to original design with respect to that part of the machine. Otherwise, I love this thing!! I’d buy it again if I had to buy another juicer.

I like the finished product and taste. It wastes too much inside augur stage and “gums” up which doesn’t happen with our Kuvings juicer but SKG is considerably cheaper. For money is a good buy for now.

I am very happy with this machine. It is SO EASY to use and easy to clean.
