Excellent bird bedding!!
The bag was really small but if you put the bedding in a large zip lock bag it’s actually a lot! This is perfect for my lovebirds nesting box! I’m very happy with this purchase!!

Bail of course cut wood shavings for bird cages
This was a bail of pine course shavings for my birds. The shavings are very compact, meaning I received a large quantity of shavings. They smell good, absorb excrement and the price was very fair for this product. I am very happy with this purchase.

This stuff is awesome!
I don’t know why this item has gotten such a bad rap. This stuff is awesome! I have 4 bluebird boxes, as well as, a “log cabin” bird house on my front porch that wrens live in. Every year I “winterize” my houses with this stuff! You may think there isn’t much there, until you start breaking it up, and crumbling it. Then you realize there is more than you think. I can use half a bag, crumbled up, 2-3 inches deep, in all of my bird houses, and I still have leftovers to add later on in the winter when it gets colder. The birds love it and fight over the houses after I have put it in. I live in northern Tennessee, which doesn’t get as cold as it does in the north. But, I still winterize every year to provide a warm, safe house for birds to get out of the weather! I recommend it highly! Of course, when Spring comes around, I clean it out and get ready for more broods of bluebirds and wrens! I recommend it highly!

A shoe box is bigger than this!! Don't buy.
This size is ridiculously SMALL. See picture. 10inch long by 3 inches high by 5inches deep. Shoe boxes are bigger. For the price of $20 this business should be ashamed of themselves. Made in China too.
