My kids actually like taking this! The grape flavor is tasty and not icky like other medicines, and it really helps with coughs, runny noses, and congestion. The daytime and nighttime combo is perfect — they sleep better at night and feel better during the day. A must-have for cold season. I always have this on hand!

So I've been trying to buy more natural flavored or unflavored medicines for my kiddos for a while now, and I appreciate the natural ingredients that are in this because let's just be honest... When I was a kid, every single flavor they put in it just was horrible and made it 10 times worse. It would have been so much better if the medicine had no flavor at all and I appreciate that this has no flavor because my kids don't give me any problems when ingesting it. It's easy to use this product and it comes with little cap so that you can pour the liquid into it and I probably have like 16 of those now because I don't typically throw those caps away, but it keeps the kids from sniffing and coughing and they get over their colds so much faster with this. The biggest highlight about this isn't just the fact that it improves the sleep quality of my kids and has great natural ingredients that I am grateful for, but also the fact that it does not expire nearly as quickly as a couple other brands that I've bought in the past. So I don't know if that's like a testament to the durability of the medication or what, but it's way better than like 30 to 90 days before expiring after opening because that's really frustrating cuz I will never get through all of that medication in less than 90 days and that was so frustrating for me. So if you're looking for a medicine that can last you about like a year and a half or so, maybe more depending on like how close you get it to the expiration date, the stuff will last quite sometime. And I double-checked it over to make sure that it didn't expire in like less than like 90 days after opening, so this should be fine. I'm open to be corrected.

This stuff is a miracle worker!! My 5 year old has been coughing up a storm, non-stop, for at least a week. I brought him to the e.r., and walk in. Gave him prednisone, had a humidifier, elevated his head, used saline to clear out his clogged nose full of mucus. And none of that helped. He coughed so much he ended up with croup cough. Horrible stuff, he can't breathe when that happens. This poor baby was so exhausted from not sleeping that as soon as I gave him hylands kids cough and mucus nighttime, he was knocked out. He went from coughing, literally, non-stop and not being able to rest, to maybe coughing once or twice throughout the night. I highly recommend this. Mucinex didn't even help like this stuff. And this is safer.

As a holistically oriented mom, this is my go to! Works super well and is all plant based ingredients. Coats the throat nicely and works quickly. Our disgusted likes the taste. We have this in our medicine cabinet all year. Works great for allergy season along with winter season.
