Classic: Delicious, no-fuss recipes from Mary’s new BBC series

I have had issues with Yorkshire puddings my entire 50 year ( cooking ) life, everyone told me I wasn't getting the fat / oil hot enough, yet it was smoking with the heat. It wasn't till someone passed on Mary Berry's Yorkshire Pud recipes that I got huge Yorkshire Puds, they are perfect every time now. No one was telling me the amounts of the ingredients I should be using. I now have five Mary Berry Cook books and Classic is the latest, with clearly laid out recipes and good colour photography so you know what to expect. Also the bottom of each page Mary Shares her helpful tips. This book really is lovely and worth every penny.

I have all of Mary’s recipe books and this one is as good as the rest. All her recipies are fail safe with clear instructions and handy tips. There are a few updated versions of recipes from her older books and lots of lovely new ones, I’ve already made the Beef Bourginon and the roast loin of pork, both were delicious, now I’m planning to make the Honey Chicken next weekend. I’m not the most confident of cooks, but I can always rely of the lovely Mary Berry! All in all, a great book at a great price!

Watched the TV programme and decided to buy the book, but waited until it came down in price first though. I like Mary Berry's recipes, I've made quite a few from this book and they have all turned out very well, though I live on my own so have to freeze some of it for another day. I would also recommend her Foolproof Cooking book and also her Baking Bible book too. Both full of wonderful recipes and so easy to make.

This is my 3rd Mary Berry cookbook and I was not disappointed. The recipes are easy to follow and delicious!

Excellent condition

A rich collection of classic British dishes along with favourites such as tarte tatin. Written in Mary Berry's inimitable style; it's rather like having her voice in the kitchen. Recipes are well set out in a very clear and practical way, with a very useful section on advance preparation. A keeper.

Another lovely book from Mary Berry containing some old favourites (with her new twist on some things) and new recipes. I have never had a failure with her recipes and feel happy to add my own take on some things without changing the delicious taste. This is a book to treasure (from a National Treasure). Long may she reign!!
