I've been a mech keyboard user for a long time. I went through the holy panda hype. Everyone thinks they want a tactile switch and that is all I used. Until I bought these Akko V3 Matchas. I've had them on my board for almost a year straight now. Incredible for typing, great sound, feel great, awesome for gaming. Do yourself a favor and if you're thinking about these, just try them out. They are my favorite switch now regardless of price. Being affordable is just a nice bonus.

I'm currently writing this review with these Matcha Green switches by Akko. This was my very first time putting aftermarket switches into a keyboard. I am incredibly pleased with the result, as they sound phenomenal, even my fiancé who likes her keyboards dead silent enjoyed using these. With that being said these switches are not silent by any means, they just have a very satisfying sound profile that varies from key profile to key profile. They require a little more pressure than I am use to being perfectly honest, but being linear this creates a very satisfying feel on the fingers. I absolutely recommend these switches for the price.Update: These switches are phenominal when paired with the Akko Lavender Pro V3's. I have used leftover Matcha Greens on a keyboard with Lavender Pros. The lack of tactility is perfect for certain keys such as shift, tab or enter. I will be buying more Akko switches for projects in the future, as I am so pleased by both of these switches.

Perfect for a smooth and creamy sounding keyboard, the price is also great.

Swapped out the cream yellow for these and have been very happy.

HIGHLY recommended! Absolutely LOVE these switches!After directly communicating with Akko they let me get this 45 pack for $13.99 after just missing that sale price weeks prior. Works great for my Redragon K552 with zero regrets! Night and day difference from my Outemu Blues. I will say that getting the spacebar, shift, enter and backspace keys to sound good will be a challenge since the stabilizers are still noisy as can be but this is not an issue and I feel like I'll watch some youtube videos to see how I can get them taken care of. I saw one video of a woman that used painters tape directly under the spacebar and it seemed to help so I'm gonna try that.The hardest thing is pushing the switches into place because when first trying it just keeps bending the pins. So after like a dozen tries I eventually just pushed them down and whether they bend or not is a mystery. I'm thinking they do bend but this does not affect how they function because they still work flawlessly even if they're bent underneath there.I'd describe the sound as a deep clack, if not a light thock. However you wanna describe it. Either way, HIGHLY recommend these and Akko has the best customer service when you talk with them directly through Amazon. Oh and they arrived in less than 48 hours with Amazon Prime!Also really like the packaging they came in, well protected and elegant.

I love the sound and feel of these switches. I put them in my alice ergonomic keyboard set up and they are amazing to type with. I do a lot of writing and these don't fatigue my fingers at all.

Loved this product. The keys were very creamy and smooth, and the factory lube is perfect. Definitely one of the best AKKO switches, and a close contender for the Cream Yellows on the creamiest sounding key. Looks absolutely beautiful as well, no bent pins. 100% recommended.
