Using this kit, I'll soon be producing 20 times the amount of liquid culture from a single 10ml syringe purchased from another company. I’m using this kit with a magnetic stirrer on a timer, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the speed of growth. The liquid is very clear and appears extremely healthy. I’m excited to start inoculating grain sooner than I expected.I believe many of the negative reviews for this product stem from factors unrelated to the kit itself or from user errors, such as using a poor starter culture or inadequate stirring—mistakes I’ve made myself. Always test your culture on an agar plate before cloning or inoculating, as I’ve wasted significant materials and time on dead cultures.While it is a bit pricey for what it is, making a jar yourself would take a couple of hours. This kit is ready to use right out of the box.

Been using this product for awhile and the quality is very consistent in quality. I had one bad batch that had gotten frozen in shipping no fault of the company and they immediately replaced. Will continue to use, super customer service, highly recommended AAAA+++++

One jar worked great then the jar i got today has exposed metal to the inside of the my jar and this has caused rust inside my jar and i onoy noticed after i already put $25 of liquid culture in the jar. So pissed and dont ever want another product from you cause i cant even get a refund without sending it back and i spent more om the liquid cukture then this product

This worked perfectly for me. Put in 3.5-5 cc of spores in and within 1 week it was ready to use. After two weeks the jar was almost full of growth. Make sure you use the stir magnet or swirl the jar by hand to keep everything from clumping together. I think the average person will get more use out of this product then they know what to do with! I have also used my liquid culture it produced and it has been growing very well so far. I will update once the grow with it is fully finished.

Every step I took was sterile as I could be.. don’t know if it’s me or just a bad jarOrdered 3 more and will be trying with 3 different strains. Will updateUPDATE—-3 out of 4 jars got contaminated…. Only 1 jar pulled through and all were injected doing the same steps as one another. I know it can’t be bad supplier because I’ve Tried 2 different companies..Would be nice if I was reimbursed but what you expect. Definitely don’t think I’ll be buying these again. Do your research guys..Update—- they reimbursed everything i had contaminate.100% successful cultures.6+ times now purchasing and is my go to source.

I have ordered this product a couple times before this time and had zero issues although this time after purchasing I noticed the solution appeared cloudy. I contacted seller to be told that’s what happens when they change filters and everything was OK so I inoculated my last bit of culture to Save genetics only to lose them due to contamination issues. This was done under a flow hood where I’ve had no other contamination problems. But I thank them forgiving me the determination & courage to make my own liquid culture mix for my libraries needs.
