I don't need to take photos using a tripod often, but had a specific need that required a mount. I purchased 3 different products, not knowing what would work the best. The Leaplumin was by far superior to the other mounts. They all worked as intended, but this one feels the most durable (it's aluminum). The design is simple, yet effective and it's nice and compact. Most of all, it held my phone in place snugly and securely, even when I needed to shoot straight down with the mount flipped. The cavity that holds the phone is lined in rubber or silicone so there's no slipping or sliding. Though pricier than the competing phone mounts, it is still reasonably priced, especially for the quality. Happy to have this useful accessory!

Perfect cell phone holder for tripod. Better than those with springs, because it's easier to mount without triggering the side buttons on the phone, and it is more stable. Very well built.

This aluminum tripod mount seems to be well made with no rough edges or burrs. The mount holds my Pixel 9 Pro XL phone securely in landscape mode and has ample room for an even larger phone. Adjusting the mount is easily done using the adjustment screw located at the top of the mount. Although the mount is narrower than the quick release on my tripod, it has a threaded mounting hole in the bottom that fits my tripod's camera quick release. I simply screw the camera quick release bolt into the threaded hole, then use my quick release like normal. If you have a different type of tripod without a quick release but it has a 1/4 inch bolt, this will fit into either the bottom threaded mounting hole or one of the two holes on the back of the mount.

I normally do not write reviews, but this thing is awesome. First this thing feels solid, because it is solid metal with a nicely padded interior for the phone. The screw down part is even more impressive, no springs here. All this but somehow its one of the least expensive options. I'm impressed.

One of my favorite phone holders / phone mount for the tripod. What I love about this design is that it won’t damage your iPhone. The adjustable screw on the top is really awesome. No pulling and messing to adjust to your phone. Sturdy. Great functionality. Easy to install your phone. Love it. Will buy it again.

I think I have had this coming close to a year now, maybe less. But it has held up just fine with my cheapo Android Mid Range phones. Seems well built to me. Would I trust it to hold my phone on my bikes handle bars while shooting video? Probably not. Do I trust it to use on a Tripod. Yup! It feels and looks like quality,

Purchase this as I was in need of a tripod mount for my phone and was disappointed to find nothing but cheap plastic ones that looked like they would fall apart after one use. Opening this I was immediately surprised with how well made this was. It is extremely solid, to the point I think I could drive my car over it and it would still work. I very much like the screw system it utilizes over the flimsy spring mechanism most mounts are using. This easily fits my phone (an S10) with it still in the case, something which a large number of other mounts would find challenging. The built in shoe mounts are also nice inclusions. My only complaint, and that is at a stretch to call it that, is it would have been nice if it included a male shoe adaptor with it. Aside from that, for the price this mount is all but a must buy.

everything i needed and only what i needed. its strong and simple and works perfectly. the screw clamp is what sets it apart. you could probably knock over my tripod and my phone would still be attached.
