Sabeatex Orthopaedic Neck Support Pillow, VISCO Elastic Soft Gel, Height 13cm

I've spent hundreds of pounds on pillows over the years and discarded most of them after a few hours of use, but this one stated in the description "try for a couple of days" and " try for 14 days" so after weeks of deliberation I ordered it......and wished I'd ordered it much sooner. It's a super pillow which is supportive whilst being soft, NOT a heavy block of memory foam but nice and lightweight and pliable, no awful smell to it either, I just put on the bed and could use it right away. My only criticism is that it is a bit on the small size and not quite a full size pillow, it leaves space in the pillowcase, but that is a small price to pay for comfort and no neck pain. I have a slipped disc and trapped nerve in my upper spine between veretabrae C4/5 which gives me pain in the right side of my neck, shoulder, back and down my right arm with numbness and tingling - well it's all but disappeared since getting this pillow. At first I thought it might be too thin at 13cm but it has proved to be perfect for my spine problems. It does benefit from being turned over now and then during use to get the optimum support from a different edge but generally I don't wake up through the night and seem to be in the same position as I went to sleep which indicates I've not been tossing and turning so I MUST be really comfortable. I am on my 4th mattress in 3 years (again because of pain in my neck/spine) and now have a very firm memory foam mattress, so my Tempur Cloud pillows were feeling too thick and heavy because of no sag in the mattress. I've bought Dorma pillows, Dunelm pillows, a CoolTech Gel pillow and those squishy hotel pillows and given them all away to my sons because they didn't work for me, my sons think I'm crazy. Now I've found this Sabeatex I'm waiting for more to come into stock to re-order the 13cm. I have tried the 15cm Sabeatex but found it quite different and heavier and thicker/fuller for my needs but I could still use it at a pinch if the 13cm was not available ever again. I can't praise these pillows enough for their quality, thickness, softness and supportiveness, and the price (compared to Tempur pillows!!!). Of course they may not be right for you, it depends on personal preference and how firm or soft your mattress is and how firm or deep you like your pillows, but if you're struggling to get comfortable then I highly recommend you try one of these Sabeatex pillows and it does offer a "try for a few days" or return it policy, so you can't get fairer than that.

This is a good pillow after sleeping on it for one night my neck felt better. I have now been using this pillow for some time and i have less neck and shoulder pain.

I have tried this pillow and was disappointed as it was not right for my neck!!! Was really hoping this pillow out of many that I have purchased would work as I suffer a lot of neck pains and sleepless nights.. I still woke up with a sprain in my neck!!! I did order the same pillow last year and that was perfect and soft but this one is to thin and hard!

I suffer from severe neck and back pain, and this often makes getting comfortable at night difficult. My sister bought one of these pillows recently, and she recommended it to me after raving about how comfortable it was. I was sceptical at first as I have tried dozens of different pillows in the past. Very often I will find that I think a pillow is great for a couple of nights and then starts to get too soft or lumpy and makes my neck feel worse. I decided to give this pillow a good trial before posting a review for this reason.Upon first use, I was immediately impressed with the softness of the pillow. It really is like resting my head on a cloud, but a supportive one. The gel core is very clever and ensures that the pillow moulds around your head providing gentle support without feeling too restrictive like I've found memory foam can be. I have been sleeping on this pillow for 10 consecutive nights now, and I am happy to report that it is just as comfortable as the first night. I am able to have a good night's sleep and not wake up with my neck hurting so much. I'm very pleased with this pillow and I recommend it to anyone who also struggles with finding a suitable pillow!

OK FOR GARDEN KNEELING

I have ongoing problems with my neck and shoulders.I knew I needed an new orthopaedic pillow as was waking even more often with a headache but which one to buy? I read every review and research and in the end went for this as it gave me the opportunity to return it if it didn't suit.When it arrived I was disappointed as thought it would be way to soft but I gave it a try, as I could, and have been pleasantly surprised. It is comfortable to lie on and clearly provides the necessary support as the headaches have significantly improved.It is not a miracle cure, I wouldn't expect it to be but it has been a good aid to the management of my neck problem. It smells nice not that horrible memory foam smell.Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to try it. I won't be sending it back and it will, at the expense of clothes!, be coming in my suitcase on my holiday next week.

I don't normally leave feedback on items bought but this pillow required it. I suffer with Cervical Spondylosis and often wake up with headaches which can take a day to go. Like many people I have tried numerous pillows but I have to say this is the best one for me. I have found other memory foam pillows to be too firm but this one is just perfect. I also tried the 15 cm Sabeatex pillow but found that to be too firm. The 13cm is the perfect height, offering sufficient support without putting your neck at a strange angle – a bit like sleeping on a goose down pillow but with the added support. Great pillow would recommend you try it!
