Best fondant I have ever used!
This new fondant is exactly as labeled... A dream! I've been working with fondant for about 8 years, and have typically used fondex or fondex elite. I was a little intimidated by the hardness of this fondant out of the container, but I am no stranger to microwaving fondant to make kneading easier! For covering a 12" round I microwaved for almost a minute total in 20 second increments. You do have to knead this stuff a little more than regular fondant, but as the lady at sweet wise said, it can be rolled without the use of cornstarch, though with darker colors or rolling really thin for decorations I would recommend using a little cornstarch. But for covering, I just rolled it up on my roller and applied to the cake. I like the time that this fondant affords you to smooth the surface without starting to look like elephant skin! Because of its tougher consistency, it is absolutely perfect for silicone molds, no more warped fondant pearl borders, and it pops free from the mold without using cornstarch! I did a Mickey Mouse cake and used the black dream fondant for the ears, just cut circles and popped in the freezer until I was ready to put them on the cake! See the photo, the have no supports, just royal icing to glue them into place! No wilting! I'm guessing it's the white chocolate in it, once it is frozen, it holds it shape and does not wilt or droop or sag... None of that! All without the use of gum paste, tylouse powder, or any other additives! Now for the best part, it holds up extremely well in warmer climates! I've only used this for 2 cakes, but if you have any questions about this product, ask in the questions section and I'll be happy to answer!

Truly a dream
This fondant is so easy to work with. Just microwave it a bit to soften it up. It tastes great and dries firm. Perfect!

More like nightmare fondant!
Bought this from sweetwise.com.The moment I took this fondant out of its container, I should have known it would not be good. It was rock hard! I gave it the benefit of the doubt, sliced it in half and stuck it in the microwave for 15 seconds. Started to knead it and it started tearing apart. I started to think, “Now I got to go to Michael’s and hope they have Wilton’s purple fondant.” I continued kneading and eventually it started to smooth out. It looked good, I had hope. I rolled it out to the size I needed and started to cover the cake. It dried so quickly! It started to tear right away. It was terrible and disappointing. Needless to say, I do not recommend this fondant for anyone.
