Very good product that your skin is easy to absorb, leaves skin smooth and soft and in time it will reduce any spots you have on your skin. I use it with other cosmetics. I layer them. This one is a perfect addition to my other cosmetics.

This is a good serum for people like me with breakouts and troubled skin. I am fond of serums that contain Niacinamide and Mandelic Acid. This serum includes both. The combination helps to balance my skin's oil (sebum), which helps keep my skin from breakouts. This serum maintains my faded dark spots. I find if I want results, I must be consistent and patient. Missing applications slow the benefits of the product on my skin. I always thoroughly dry my skin & hands before applying any serums. Then, I ensure the serum is absorbed into my skin before applying moisturizer. If I don’t, I get a sticky, icky feel. HOW I USE: EVERY OTHER NIGHT 1 - Cleanse my face, 2 - I apply 4 drops of this serum on my face. 3 - LAST, I finish with my usual moisturizer. DL-Mandelic Acid works well with the other skincare products that are part of my facial regimen. If you're going to use this, it's important that you understand how hyaluronic acid works and why this serum will work great for some and isn't working so well for me now that it's winter and the humidity in the air at home is super low. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant. It pulls water from its surroundings and binds with it. This means that if you put it on your face and the air is humid, it will pull the water from the air and add it to your skin. (Assuming your skin is drier than the air.) If, on the other hand, you apply this to skin and the air is super dry, it can actually pull the water from the skin and put it on the surface. Which is exactly what happened the first few times I tried to use this. It sucked the moisture out of my skin and made it drier. This will work best if your skin is slightly damp and you immediately apply moisturizer over it. I found it super thick and sticky and couldn't even cover my face with 4 large drops. It takes a lot to get it spread out. Then I apply moisturizer and re-apply it a few minutes later. I've even had to spray with a moisturizing spray on top of that! In other words, this just wants to keep sucking the moisture out of my skin as the air around me is so dry. While this isn't unique to just this product, at this price point, I can't justify using it anymore and have stopped. I may continue again in the Spring, but winter is the time my skin is the driest and needs the most help. On the plus side, I have very sensitive skin and allergies to fragrance and did not have issues using this product. Not something I'd recommend to others living in dry areas, but it could work for some.
